i got a message once asking how would they look like older to me and i’ve been thinking about it since. 

chances are none of them (including neil/possibly exluding nicky) would live past the age of 25

because if andrew and aaron and nicky parted ways after high school

the chances of aaron falling back into drugs get so much higher

especially since he would probably never see andrew after they graduate 

since their relationship is still nonexistent at best and he’s mourning his mother and who knows what his college situation would be if he didn’t have the scholarship at palmetto 

and I thiiink (lmk if i’m wrong) that in the ec Nora mentions something about how Andrew would not have been able to make it on his own

without his family keeping him grounded, keeping him needed

and if Andrew and Aaron died, yeah Nicky would be in Germany with Erik

but imagine how distraught he would be over losing his only real remaining family

and not only that, but the ones he took care of and then left 

and if the three of them never went to Palmetto, then what did Kevin have, really, to keep him there?

even if he still went to Wymack after Riko broke his hand

we know that he almost went back to the Ravens but then Andrew kept got him to stay 

so no Andrew means that chances are Kevin would find himself back in the nest, left to deal with whatever punishments Riko found necessary 

and whether he dies at Riko’s hand or his own, I don’t think it’s out of the question to assume that he wouldn’t have too long of a life left after going back

and Neil is just Neil

whether he’s caught and killed by his father’s men or the moriyamas or just something, anything happens while he’s on the run

he always knew he wasn’t going to last long anyway 

and while these are all sorta worst case scenarios

there is one silver lining 

none of this applies to anything because they have each other and they live 

full, happy lives together
