I decided to finish my work from last year

I think what disappointed me more was realizing that even people close to me sometimes quietly scroll past the things I put effort and emotion into.

It’s a strange feeling when you support others naturally, but suddenly feel invisible yourself.

Maybe social media just works that way.

"What is Himura thinking?"

I drew the scene from a fanfiction in archive of our own. The fanfiction name is "Before the last Cherry Blossom fade" by Soul_Narrative and it was an inspiration and it was amused about Kenshin's thoughts how Katsura look like with the bare chest and if he got battle scars behind the perfect look the Choshu Leader have. 😳🤤🤫

"Disturbance of the Peace"

And then, from inside the house itself:

Sharp, unmistakable, cutting through the night:

"If you out there whisper one more time,

I'll come out myself!

And I won't be alone!"

Dead silence.

No one moved.

"You heard them," muttered the oldest Ishin.

"We're leaving."

"And we're forgetting we ever saw each other,"

added the senior Shinsengumi.

A silent agreement

and both patrols dissolved.

Swiftly. Soundlessly.

Inside the House

Somewhere in a windowless room,

hidden behind locked sliding doors,

Kenshin clung to Saitō's shoulder, breathless.

"That was way too loud," he whispered, cheeks burning.

Notes from the author: I drew the scene from one of my fanfictions a month ago and today I finished the work. I'm not a born Mangaka, but I do my best. I have fun to make it. ☺️

Sometimes it's not what others say out loud.

It’s the quiet thoughts that stay.

Not good enough.

Not seen.

Not understood.

This scene didn’t just make me sad:

I was focused the last weeks with writing my two new fanfictions. Now I found time to draw again. That's me in the center and the little kid described my little me. Anime and Manga are my entire life and without it, I don't know what my life meant to be. It will always part of me.
