I finally updated "Differently". The bad news is that FF.net isn't letting me upload any version of the file, for some reason, but the good news is if you use AO3 you get it first. :o) I'll get it on FF.net eventually, sorry for the delay on that front! I normally like uploading simultaneously.

I had to put my dog down. I'm devastated beyond words. I spent the last months I had with her at home as much as I possibly could be. She was in my arms 80% of the time since October. I have received so much love because she *was* so loved. It comforts me that even strangers could see it.

I'm trying to navigate a world where she doesn't exist and it breaks my heart. She's been by my side since I was 16. I was lucky enough to have her for 12 years and yet it still seems so cruel that I wanted more, but I had to let her go. It was her time.

I think I may write something just about her. I am so afraid of forgetting the memories I have. I don't want her to be a faint memory. I've probably drowned out anything left out of one of the many blankets she slept on from my tears.

So, I'm sorry for anyone that finds this blog and is hoping I will update Differently or write anything else. I've been aiding my dog since my work trip. Her health took priority for me and I just couldn't draw my attention away. I know no one is expecting anything from me and I'm just adding unnecessary pressure (as usual) on myself but I just want to say I need some time. This was not a planning hiatus by any means but I just don't think I can upload another update before the year ends.
