Annie arrived at the hospital two hours before her shift started, and still she was a hot mess. The white coat flutters with her movement as she runs from one side of the room to the other. Each wall occupied with sticky-notes and her pinned writings. âNo, no, no. Those will not do. The ingredients would cause the opposite of the hypothesis. âShe mumbled to herself She slid on the polished floor to her desk, almost missing it completely. One flat palm slammed onto the desk to gain her balance. âOH! Titanium wouldnât be necessary in this brew.â The mumbles barely inaudible as she crosses out the words on the paper with red ink. Â This had been her entire two hours so far, but then she realizes awkwardly grabbing another stick it-note that she wasnât alone.
âUm..oh..H-helloâ She murmured softly with a slow smile. Mahogany hues bulge when she seems to remember something, and she holds up a finger. Bending her form backwards she scribbles a simple note âPeanut butterâ and tosses it towards her chair. Nervously she combed the first few strands of her hair, and she pulls out the clipboard when she retracts her body with the crack of her bones. Definitely shouldnât move that fluidly. Â Wrinkling her nose, she glances to the other person with a guilty stare. âSorry. Who? Ah.. did we.. ah we..â Her brain was flooding thousands of thoughts into her mind, so she blinks for a minute. âAppointment right! We had an appointment yes, so sorry.â Speedily her hand shot out to grab another clipboard and she stared at the patientâs name. Darting her eyes from the information in front of her to the face that was now inches from her own.
