Figure of a Knight from England dated to the 12th Century on display at the Wallace Collection in London, England
This figure shows the fashion of knights in Norman England. A conical helmet with a nasal guard to protect the face. The knight uses a mail hauberk to protect their arms and body from attacks. Lastly they have the long kite shield that was symbolic to the Norman knights. This shield protected the body and legs while on horseback.
