スポークもハブもない折り畳み自転車「Sada Bike」―タイヤサイズは26インチ！ － えん乗り

イタリア在住の Gianluca Sada さんは、折り畳み自転車「Sada Bike」を発明しました。

「Sada Bike」は折り畳みでありながら、普通の自転車と同等の走行性能を目指したもの。これを実現するため、普通の自転車と同じ26インチサイズのタイヤを採用しました。でも26インチサイズのタイヤでは、かさばる上に重すぎて折り畳み自転車には不向き。そこで Sada さんは、タイヤからスポークとハブを取り除いてしまいます。これにより、大幅な軽量化に成功しました。

Constructed out of an ash wood frame and steel counterparts, BSG Bikes are the new urban bicycles with something to prove.

Fitted with standard pieces to aid with maintenance, interested buyers can customize the color of the wood trim and stainless steel parts to their liking.
