I've lost myself loving you

I haven't been depressed and suicidal in a couple years, but lately, I've been sad about what my life is like. I love my boyfriend to pieces. He's sweet, funny, and he takes care of me (plus so much more) BUT we have totally different personalities now. We have been together for almost 4 years, and I'm kinda upset that he doesn't necessarily want to marry me. I'm also wondering if he is the person for me since we're so different. I absolutely hate where we live, but he loves it here and has no plans or desires to move. He also doesn't care to compromise and pretty much just thinks about what he wants to do, not about what I want. He loves the desert, I love the forest. I love all things cottagecore, kinda witchy, and I love Halloween, but he's following in his mother's VERY Christian footsteps and thinking all that stuff is bad and evil. I can't help but imagine what it would be like to be with someone who is more like me or supports the things I like. I'll be 25 in October and I feel like time is already running out and I don't know what to do. I love my boyfriend, I really do, but I just wish he was different 😔
