The Overlook Hotel

If you stare at the stars long enough, you’ll start to cry for one reason or another.

Have you ever passionately adored someone so much, wanted to give them the entire universe when you were able, and be their everything, yet you had to rip yourself away from that person becuase you know they don’t feel the same for you?

I often wonder how I will look back on my teenage years. Unlike most, who will see parties and brief romances and kissing for the very first time, I will remember those empty months, where life was colourless. I will feel those weeks, sitting alone in my room watching the world pass through a rain splattered window pane, and I’ll shiver, as I recall the dark, misty greyness I was consumed by. I lost part of my life to my sadness, and I’ll never get it back, no matter what happens in the future. Part of me will always be taken by those dark, and dismal days.
