I wanted full turnaround references for all of Catra's main looks, so I compiled them! Left image colored, right image transparent lines only. Links below will bring you to the official sheets I used as bases
Row 1 is traced from Jisoo Kim's official S1 reference sheet for angles 1, 4, and the expressions (missing angles are based off row 2). Adora/scale guidelines are based on row 2
Row 2 is traced from Ray Geiger's official full turnaround sheet for S4. Only the second angle was colored on the original sheet, so I filled in color for all the other angles (and removed it for the transparent sheet). Guidelines were traced from the official sheet as well.
Row 3 is based on that S4 sheet and edited to match her S5 look based off of screenshots. The new hair for the first two angles is taken from Ray Geiger's S5 new design exploration sheets.
Row 4 has three designs copy-pasted from those exploration sheets (chipped, partial underwear look, and short hair + mask look), and then the two "naked" designs are once again traced from the exploration sheets (with clothes removed for the head-on angle).
Hope these are helpful!
btw there was an error with the blush layering on s4 that ive fixed on both sheets (as well as thickened some lines). i also removed the xray lines for her hips that were under her s5 belt on the lineart sheet because they look more like an error than something helpful. they're minor changes, but i want these to be an accurate reference. past reblogs won't be updated, so feel free to redownload from here/the base post if needed. im going to be using these for future projects so i don't have to keep rummaging through screenshots lol
making these was interesting because i had to let go the idea of 100% turnaround consistency. it's impossible for her S5 belt to appear angled like that from the side for instance based on the front and back design, but it's 2d animation, so they draw it slanted from the current angle because it "feels" right for the character even if it's not how a 3d object would actually look from the side and that's something that only works with 2d animation
i also had to choose between accuracy and faithfulness when making these, i think there were some errors on the official sheets, like the traced "naked" look in the bottom right still had her stirrup straps on it that i decided to remove. on the flip side i wouldn't "fix" the color change in her mask between season 1 and season 4 because even tho it's not possible with a physical object (unless she repainted between seasons lol), it's part of the animation medium for it to be able to change based on the overall color palate
