As a robot girl and a mechanic, its important to get someone else to do your maintenance. Not Just because you need to let others pamper you for a change, though that part is true. But because you need someone to reset and reinstall those safely limitors.
I know you've been disabling them. Do I even need to check your logs? Tally up the time they read "heat override". You have so many sensors turned off or disabled. These ones in particukar are for your safety, you realize that right? The exterior armor is barely scratched, yet your internals are cooked and worn to shreds.
Trust me, I get it. Theirs lots to do and plenty to get done. But you're overvaluing your purpose, and undervalueing your chassis.
A free-range group therapy called "get herded, idiot", where you and everyone in your group is set loose to run around on an open field while a highly trained shepherd dog tries to keep you all in one group. I am not sure what benefit this would have for anyone involved.
This would fix everyone involved including the dog
I Sexually Identify as an Attack Helicopter was one of the best works of sci-fi of our generation and one of the best works of transgender fiction ever written, and there are world renowned authors who still have successful careers after they publicly assassinated the nascent woman who wrote it. I don't think they should ever know peace.
Isabel Fall is the patron saint of works unwritten and art unmade by a culture that cannot tolerate trans women
I think this constantly and then I get angry for thinking it, because trans women should not have to be martyrs or saints to animate our politics and our art. that work should have been her debut, not her epitaph. I should be moved by her career, not her absence. I could spit.

Im going to shibari the fuck out of my mech
I am also going to forcefem it, dont ask questions
you built it yourself from scratch as a guy just so you can forcefem it later?
in her defense, she said "don't ask questions"
OP's not saying not to shibari your mech. Just that their cable winch system is not a safe mean to do so.
oh, you could totally shibari a mech with the cable winch system
i just absolutely do not have time for that when I have to address, say, a burning Manticore PG actively melting down

She ran a talon along his jaw, her voice humming with disapproval.
“This does not suit you.”
He grimaced at the sensation of his beard being rubbed against the grain, though he could hardly squirm when he was pinned down so firmly.
“And what does it matter to you?”
She didn’t answer, continuing to examine and prod at his face, her one paw more than easily cupping his jaw and holding it tight.
Could she feel his heartbeat accelerating? Hear how his breathing increased in pace despite his best efforts? She bared her teeth and snorted at him, hot breath rolling over his skin and tousling his hair. Oh yes, she could definitely feel it.
“You don’t even like it,” she mused, moving his chin back and forth as if to examine him more thoroughly.
A protest immediately jumped to his lips but a squeeze of her paw killed it before he could give it breath. Her scales were hot against his skin, the pressure against his face even and not uncomfortable. This was not how he had expected his evening to go at all.
“Why do you keep it?”
The question was direct, and as he tried to avert his eyes she brought his face back around so he could look nowhere else but into her own. Large, yellow, and practically glowing. She wasn’t going to accept a half-answer, was she?
“… It’s effort,” he said after a long pause, “It grows back so quickly and is always so visible, what would even be the point?”
Even if he stripped himself raw he could still feel each individual hair under his skin. It itched and often made a rash when it grew, as if to add insult to injury. Why bother?
The dragon let out a low growl, finally allowing him to break eye contact as she rotated his face again, searching for what he could not be at all certain.
“Are you satisfied? Will you let me go now?”
He could not stop the pleading note from entering his voice, nor entirely hide his desperation. Touch such as this was alien to him, it was wrong. He didn’t want it. He didn’t want to come to enjoy it.
He involuntarily shivered as she once again ran the side of a talon along his jaw, the keratin-smoothness giving an impression of just how sharp it could be. Her sustained rumbling was causing his chest to resonate, making it hard to control his breathing. How was she so warm? No. Stop. Deep breaths. Deep breaths.
The dragon’s paw finally loosened its iron grip from his skull, causing him to let out a sigh of relief. He didn’t remotely regret the lack of sensation, the rapidness with which his skin seemed to cool.
“No…” She finally murmured, “No, I won’t. I’m far too curious to see what you’d look like without it.”
He went slack-jawed, eyes wide.
“Pardon?” He spluttered, attempting to squirm out from under her, “No— I mean— You cannot be serious,”
He may as well have been speaking an entirely different language — she let him squirm only to allow herself to maneuver into a more comfortable position, then promptly pinned him even more thoroughly to the ground. His panicked breaths resolved into a strangled whine.
“Hold still,” she said with an authoritative air, bringing her snout so close her breath made his hair stand on end. He swore she was smiling, as much as a dragon could.
He wasn’t able to see it so much as feel it as the dragon’s tongue slid over his jaw and cheek. If her scales were warm then the tongue was burning hot, the trail of saliva feeling almost as if it should be steaming.
His controlled breathing was failing him, his lungs working into desperate gasps. His heart was in his throat. He could tell she was enjoying this.
Next came her talon, the sharp edge now pressed at an angle into his skin. She was the slightest twitch away from drawing blood.
With all the desperation of caught prey, he suddenly went very still, her instructions now clear.
Her saliva contained some sort of topical venom, he theorized. Something immediate and intoxicating. That was the only explanation for why her hum of approval made his head spin.
Her snout came even closer, talon still pressed into his skin, breath so close to his ear he could feel it dampen.
“Good girl,” she whispered.
He let out an involuntary prey animal moan.
Her own saliva was the only lubricant she needed. The knife-sharp edge inched across his skin, deliberately slow and terrifyingly smooth. She savored every single freed hair, her purring — and only then had he realized she’d been purring — increasing in strength as each one fell free.
In one smooth motion, she’d drawn one digit across from his chin to his ear, the sharp point resting against his lobe.
“A piercing would suit you, I think.”
She said it distractedly, offhandedly, as if her voice wasn’t making his brain bounce around in his skull.
Then she drew the talon back across the skin, a casual gesture. That same keratin-smoothness was uninterrupted by the awful spiny texture of his beard, further lubricated by her still-hot spit. Nobody could have blamed him for his strangled, pleading whimper.
“So much prettier this way, mm?”
He managed a quiet, whining “Nooo,” earning himself a disappointed huff.
“How about this, then?”
He should have seen it coming.
Her tongue drew across his skin, freshly smooth, but this time she flexed the spines embedded in the soft flesh, allowing him to feel them in full, beautiful detail.
Hundreds of little lines of simultaneous sensation, wet and hot and sharp and pleasurable—
She was deliberately slow, drowning him in the confirmation of the smoothness of his skin. How was it that she’d made him feel so soft? How had she known his secret shame so thoroughly?
“Perfect. Just perfect.”
Just as he felt he’d recovered from that onslaught, she grasped firmly at his jaw once again. A new line of burning saliva, though a single fork of her tongue made sure to tease the already cleansed skin.
He had lost all resistance by that point. The unsuppressed shiver that ran up and down his body delighted her, causing her to dig in her paw slightly stronger into his skin. He was putty in her hands.
Even verbal rebuttal was beyond him. Her talon was slow, efficient, and utterly merciless. His every exhale was a whine, his eyes scrunched tight to preserve himself. He lied silently that his face was only burning because of the dragonesses spit and the forced exfoliation, but he could not deny the unique sensation of shameful blushing that had consumed him. Humiliation blazed hotter in him than even the dragon’s own warmth.
She was no longer kind enough to stop after each pass finished, instead choosing to continue the onslaught of touch. She cooed in his ear about how good he was doing, holding so still when it was so clear that all he wanted to do was squirm in her grasp. As if he could move even if he wanted to risk it. Her talons effortlessly maneuvered around the hard bone of his jawline and his chin, over the soft flesh of his cheeks. Each pass of claw and tongue left him tingling and damp and so desperately needy.
The longer it took — and he’d lost track of time entirely — the less focused on the task she became. Her tongue began to explore beyond where his beard festered. Forked tips tickling his lower neck, razor sharp teeth teasing his skin.
He was pleading with her, but he couldn’t tell if he meant for her to stop or push harder, just repeating “Please, please,” over and over. It was almost a game, him asking only so that she could ignore him. She neither stopped nor fully committed, leaving him writhing and squirming with whatever limbs she hadn’t bothered to pin him with.
Slowly, glacially, her pace slackened. Rather than long, drawn out swipes she became far more deliberate, thoughtful. Targeted flicks of her tongue making him gasp. Clean up, he thought.
Finally, her grip around his jaw reasserted itself as she gave a distinct huff of approval. He was burning from the base of his neck to the tips of his ears, the embarrassment so fiercely intense that he thought if he looked her in the eyes he might will himself to die.
“Now isn’t this just so much better?” She purred, squeezing and running her digits along his far smoother skin. He was so used to it feeling rough; even after his best attempts at shaving, it’d never felt like this. He wasn’t sure whether to cry or to scream.
With great effort, he calmed his breath enough to finally strangle out a question.
“Why?”
She squeezed with gentle pressure, as if he were a toy she played with in idle thought. It didn’t take much effort to force him to look her in the eye.
“As if you don’t know.”
The way he flushed to an even deeper shade of red was all the answer she needed — her laughter was a hissing, cooing noise, reverberating in his ribcage.
“Ah, so you do. How could you not, I suppose? You would know best of all how much your repressive need just sang. A single glance at you was all I needed to unmask you, lovely little thing that you are.”
He could barely hear her over the blood rushing in his ears, his breath rattling as he wheezed, desperately trying to shake his head in disagreement even as she held him fixed. Her paw moved in deliberate slow, swirling motions, maximizing the emphasis of his smooth skin.
“Admit it. You’re safe to, with me. Say it aloud.”
His mouth flapped open and closed, his tongue working but his lungs not providing the necessary air.
All throughout she kept on stroking at his jaw, his chin, his cheek. Talons closed around his neck, running up and down skin he was not aware could be so sensitive.
“I shouldn’t,” he finally blurted out.
“That’s not what I asked now, is it?”
“It’s p-perverse,”
The dragon hissed, pinning him tightly to the floor.
“Hush. Even if it were, that would hardly dismiss it. Here,”
She didn’t even need a claw to effortlessly tear a portion of his shirt, exposing his shoulders. The forked tips of her tongue teased his collarbone, and he involuntarily made a needy noise.
“I’ll reward you, mm? Say it.”
He couldn’t. He couldn’t. But a far more intense dragging of her tongue across his neck weakened his resolve.
“I- I want it,”
He was crumbling. He couldn’t bear to look her in the eyes. She didn’t force him to, this time, but still her voice was smug.
“Want what, mm?”
“No. No! You already know— Come on, please,”
Was he really reduced this much? Begging and whining?
“Say it, precious.”
He whimpered as she nuzzled his neck teasingly, her soft nose electrifying against his bare skin. Finally, he broke.
“I- I want to be a- a woman,”
It came out as a choked hiss, her eyes squeezed shut in shame. Her perversion laid bare, pulled out like a rotten tooth.
She was startled as the dragon’s teeth grazed the most sensitive part of her neck, causing her to shiver uncontrollably. Claws dug possessively into her jaw, into the soft flesh of her cheek, holding her in place as the tongue found where her neck met her ear.
She let out a desperate animal moan, involuntarily pushing against the dragon’s paws to try and maximize the physical contact.
A tail snaked around her thighs, drawing her in closer. The dragon’s voice lowered to a whisper, her teeth teasing her earlobe.
“Why should I stop here?” Claws ran up her calves, “Perhaps we should continue, see just how sensitive your legs are,”
They rotated around to her inner thigh, causing her to squirm against the restraints, “Your thighs,”
She reached up further still and squeezed non-existent breasts, and although there was nothing for her to feel she moaned all the same.
“Your chest.”
She was clay in the dragon’s paws, trying to push against every source of touch to feel as much of it as possible. Talons searching over every inch of her body, systematically stripping away hated old clothing, leaving the occasional mark. The dragon freed her limbs, leaving her to writhe pathetically against her scales.
And the night continued with much of the same.
boring take from real 21st century idiots: bdsm is bad because it's basically torture
interesting take from a fictional 14th century monk: torture is bad because it's basically sex
Shoutout to the nun who had other nuns tie her up and pour hot wax on her as she confessed her sins
I'm sure that's true, but something tells me googling "nun tied up by other nuns" "hot wax" "confessing sins" will likely get what you might call rather un-academic results

How the media depicts the Apollo 11 mission:
Actual quotes from the Apollo 11 mission:
also according to michael collins when the three of them were discussing what neil armstrong should say when he first stepped on the moon, collins suggested armstrong say “Oh, my God, what is that thing?” and then scream and cut out his mic.
Everyone forgets Michael Collins and it’s fucking tragic.
dragon tip: a trans girl is a kind of hatchling you can put under your wing and keep warm and she’s very soft and smooth
trans girl tip: if a dragon lays down and puts a big wing over you, when she sticks her head under and goes ^V^ at you, reach up and pet her snout! she’ll make a very cute happy trilling sound
dragons who are very protective of trans girls because those are our temple priestesses damnit
dragons can’t be regal and stately and imperious ALL the time. sometimes the Great Scaled One really wants a shy veiled girl to scritch behind her frills for a few minutes and wants some privacy to be scritched, or perhaps she wants to curl up in her nest with a soft warm thing that smells nice. what are priestesses even FOR if you can’t do that
ragebaiting my fellow nonhumans by petting your fur/feathers/scales the wrong way.

I can feel it. Reactor's thrum Engine's roar. Force and momentum and armor sloughing away like rain into bright beautifully blazing beads tones and screams and lies whispered to both and the void and every tracker all at once to desperately convince them there's nothing here. or that there's something, but it's there, or there, or ove burning out truths, clouds of glittering diamond. a different kind of scream, blinding range, blinding ears. systems burning from use, heat unable to leave something snapping. something crashing something triggering something

genuinely wild to me when I go to someone's house and we watch TV or listen to music or something and there are ads. I haven't seen an ad in my home since 2005. what do you mean you haven't set up multiple layers of digital infrastructure to banish corporate messaging to oblivion before it manifests? listen, this is important. this is the 21st century version of carving sigils on the wall to deny entry to demons or wearing bells to ward off the Unseelie. come on give me your router admin password and I'll show you how to cast a protective spell of Get Thee Tae Fuck, Capital
Share the knowledge
Okay, here we go! I'm gonna try and put this in order from least to most technical knowledge required. I'm not responsible if you accidentally create SkyNet etc.
Level 1: browser extensions
This one is basically impossible to get wrong, or at least to get wrong badly enough that it causes any problems.
Get Firefox, or a Firefox fork like Waterfox. If you use a fork, make sure it's one that will let you use add-ons. On a PC, pretty much any Firefox fork will take add-ons, but on mobile devices, many don't. Iceraven is one that does.
Get the add-ons uBlock Origin, YouTube Sponsorblock (if you use YouTube), and FBCleaner (if you use Facebook).
uBlock Origin comes with a built-in list of filters to block ads and trackers, but you can add your own filters to block any specific element of a website you don't like. You know those goddamn floating frames on fandom.com sites that block half the screen? Now you can zap 'em.
Sponsorblock uses crowdsourced timestamps to automatically skip sponsor spots and self-promotion in YouTube videos. Never listen to anyone say "hit like and subscribe" or "Raid Shadow Legends" again.
FBCleaner hides all content from your feed except posts from people, groups, and pages you've actually chosen to follow.
Level 2: leaving enshittified services
The software that's become standard over the years in a lot of fields is steadily selling more of your data, showing you more ads, and pushing you to buy more expensive subscriptions. Time to tell them to get fucked.
Dump Adobe apps for Affinity or Krita. Drop Microsoft for LibreOffice. Change your default search engine from Google to DuckDuckGo or Qwant. Use OpenStreetMaps instead of Google or Apple Maps.
Level 3: network-level DNS fuckery
DNS, or Domain Name Service, is the thing that tells your computer where www.website.com is actually located. By hacking your network's DNS you can force it to tell your devices that ad-hosting domains don't exist at all. Some of the steps on this one can get pretty technical, but because you're doing all the difficult stuff on a dedicated device, you can't really fuck up anything that seriously.
Get yourself a Raspberry Pi (a cheap older one like a model 3B will work just fine for this purpose), and follow a guide like this one to get it set up running AdGuard Home. AdGuard, like uBlock, has built-in filter lists, but you can also add your own if there are specific domains you want to block.
Once it's up and running, you'll need to change the DNS settings on your router to point to your AdGuard service. This is different for every router but will always start with logging into the admin panel with a password printed on a little sticker somewhere on the router.
With that done, every time a device on your home network looks for ads.website.com, it'll get back a message that says "sorry, can't find it", so it won't be able to load any ads.
Level 4: Android-specific DNS fuckery
Because AdGuard runs on your home network, it can't block ads on your phone when you're away from home - and what's worse, your phone will sometimes remember the addresses it got when you were out and about, and ads will get past your AdGuard wall even when you're home.
To avoid this, get AdAway for DNS-based ad-blocking directly on your phone. The easy, but less seamless, way of using AdAway is the "local VPN mode", which doesn't require you to do any mucking about with your phone's operating system.
Level 5: automated media piracy
The best way to stop seeing ads on all your streaming services is to stop using streaming services. There are loads of ways to do this, but the best ones involve setting up what's called an "arr stack" (Google that for setup guides) along with nzbget and a usenet account. Most of the time you'll want to set this stuff up on a dedicated device - an old laptop gathering dust in the closet is a great option, or you can grab something used from a charity shop or a local electronics recycler.
The great thing about usenet is that unlike with torrents, you don't have to do any sharing from your computer, so you're in a lot less legal jeopardy - legally speaking, distributing pirated content is waaayyy more serious than accessing it. I pay about £3 a month for a secure, high-bandwidth usenet service.
Once you start getting your own collection of media on your own computer, use the open-source media library manager Jellyfin to browse and play things from basically any device.
Oh, and don't be a dick. Pirate all you want from big corporations, but please pay independent small-time creators for their work.
Level 6: fucking with Android
Android phones are a lot more locked-down than they used to be, but depending on the device you own you can still do a lot of messing around under the hood. Note that if you get something wrong while doing this, there is always the possibility that it will turn your device into a paperweight.
Before you buy a device, check where it sits on the Bootloader Unlock Wall of Shame. Once you've bought it, check the xda-developer forums for guides on how to unlock it and "root" it (gain admin access) with Magisk.
Once Magisk is installed, you can add modules to do all sorts of cool stuff, including using AdAway in "root mode" which makes it basically invisible.
You can also install YouTube ReVanced, which will do all the ad- and sponsor blocking stuff we took care of in your Windows browser a few paragraphs ago. Be careful: there are a lot of fake sites out there pretending they're associated with the ReVanced project which might be injecting malware into their downloads. This Reddit post has the official instructions and links.
Also, try out the modded version of Facebook from APKmoddone, which will block most of the same shit as the FBcleaner add-on from earlier. There's always a possibility that modified apps like this are doing something dodgy, but I've never had any issues with this one personally.
Level 7: fucking with Windows
This one is scary because it can seriously fuck up your shit if something goes wrong, but some really cool people have actually made it very simple to strip all the bloat, ads, and spyware out of Windows. The tool I use is ReviOS. Start reading at https://www.revi.cc/docs. Basically, you'll need to download a tool called AME Wizard and the ReviOS "playbook" that tells AME what to do. Read the documentation before you do any of this.
Level 8: switching to Linux
I'm not going to pretend this is an option for everyone. Half the software I use on a weekly basis isn't available on Linux. But if you can switch? Do it. These days, Ubuntu - one of the most popular flavours of Linux - is built with people switching from Windows in mind, and a lot of things will be pretty intuitive. It also has great documentation and a huge community you can go to for help if you're confused about stuff.
And that, friends, is a comprehensive approach to banishing the demons of capitalism from your home!
Something I want to add:
You don't even need a pihole for it anymore. You can throw "dns.adguard-dns.com" into your android phone under Network (or Connections) > Private DNS > Private DNS Provider Hostname in your Settings app. You can also set your router up to use it via the IPs:
94.140.14.14
94.140.14.15
Link to to source for that:
Create your ad-blocking DNS server that will protect your personal data, prevent tracking and allow you to control access to specific conten
That will depend on your router, just search "How to set up custom DNS for (router name & model)". You can usually find that info on a sticker on the router itself. The model name is often nonsense like CM1000.
For switching to Linux:
If you're worried about software not working, and the software isn't something with work-related requirements attached, you can usually find alternatives. Alternativeto.net is a good place to start with that.
AlternativeTo lets you find apps and software for Windows, Mac, Linux, iPhone, iPad, Android, Android Tablets, Web Apps, Online, Windows Tab
If you're a gamer, protondb.com will let you see how well your specific game runs on Linux. Ranks are from:
Borked - Does Not Work At All, or works so poorly that you cannot play the game at all
Bronze - Sort of works, but with glitches that don't exist on Windows that affect gameplay
Silver - Works, but requires tinkering, and has glitches that don't affect gameplay, or requires heavy tinkering to get running
Gold - Works, requires mild tinkering (usually just selecting another proton version from the drop down)
Platinum - Works out of the box
Native - Is made for Linux
Other common alternatives:
Spotify: I've heard good things about Tidal, but haven't personally used it (I use a cloud storage service and local files for music)
Google drive: Nextcloud. You can find free servers on their website
Google office: OnlyOffice has a desktop/mobile app, and most of the features
Gmail: Free providers aren't common, but disroot is one of them. They also offer quite a few services. Personally I use mailbox.org, but they do cost $36 a year minimum
Google search: Disroot has a searx instance, startpage.com exists, and you'd be surprised at how far you can get by setting your default search engine to Wikipedia. Marginalia's also good, but selective about what they index (mostly indieweb stuff)
I, admittedly, run almost everything through Emacs nowadays, so there may be better alternatives now.
(Directed generally) Also remember that in most cases the problems are Google, Apple, Facebook, Amazon, and Microsoft. If you find a small project that isn't perfect, remember that those five companies are probably worse in every way imaginable. Look for an alternative, but for the love of whatever you hold dear, Google is *not* a better alternative.
This is so real
