5.30 pm dreamy skies around Tosari bus stop, Central Jakarta.

I have to admit that the legendary Gulai Tikungan 'Gultik' of Jakarta does tastes good and fortunately quite affordable for a portion. It was also located in a reachable place in the junctions sidewalk of Blok M district in Southern Jakarta. You might confused a bit if you're a first-timer of Gultik seeker because instead of finding a single big food stall, you will either find bunch of food stands of Gultik all around the streets.

Unfortunately, I couldn't even stand a single round without ordering another three portions of it because frankly, Gultik's single portion equals to my one-third portion of meal (yes im a big eater). They also do have some good satays for additional menu (egg satay & chicken skin). Pro tip: you have to hold back your appetite of not grabbing as many satay as possible if you don't want your bill to hit the high.

I came there twice and Ichsan accompanied me for the second time. We got Es Podeng (might as well Pudding but it was twisted into Javanese pronouncing lmao) as our dessert. I have known Es Podeng in my hometown but we called it as Es Puter 🍧

– and maybe if something wasn't meant for us then we shouldn't be sad too. It could be a blessing in disguise to protect us from whatever might hurt us, or even there's something bigger awaits before us. But still we just couldn't accept the facts at first. Instead most people, or maybe every single person in this world, chose to refuse to take a look at it because it's the easiest way to make them feel less uncomfortable.

Maybe that's why it's called the art of life is letting go. Life itself doesn't come with a manual book, and human nature naturally seeks for a comfort in every way. Nobody really teaches us how to face our fears and insecurities. Maybe we weren't created to experience such discomforts in our lives at the first place; bad relationships with parents, rejection of love, being left behind, feeling unwanted, it doesn't matter how life has put you through those difficulties but I really need you to know that we have to accept the fact that it is happening to all of us and it's normal.

So please promise me that next time you will not choose to turn your back on those discomforts and try your best to overcome and make it through for another day.

I tried yoga every 6.30 am in the morning.

I tried Chloe Ting's abs workout on youtube every afternoon — both because I need to get my lazy ass body on moving and to burn my belly fat.

I... cooked? Well you can say so since I'm working up in the kitchen for more than 10 minutes more often, but mostly assisting my highly-skilled-on-cook grandma to cut off veggies or just to turn on the stove.

I always have piles if books I haven't even got time to read since 2015, since I have plenty of time during quarantine I started to read my books again, I have chosen George Orwell's 1984 to start with. But it turns out that now I am currently reading 4 books in a row (yes seriously); 1984 by George Orwell, Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari, The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck by Mark Manson, and Sherlock Holmes series. I feel most alive when I'm being absorbed into books.

I played with my cats and kittens like every seconds in 24 hours per 7 days, they sit in my lap while I'm watching Netflix, they sleep next to me in my bed (just for an hour and they'd go back to the floor), they took a walk around my yard when I'm out for a sun kiss in the morning.

I held a weekly meeting with my friends every Saturday just to keep up with student orientation things.

Honne and Beka was good but i barely see their head but i had a good time

Maybe I think that my country should've appreciate books & literatures much more in every way & in any aspects in life. Because it's true from whoever's quote which said that books are the life saver, even if they can't save you from everything – I think we all agree that books saved us from ignorance and uneducated. If you're lucky enough then it'll even save you from reality.

What makes you think how Christopher Columbus discovered America? He read the map.

What makes you think how Thomas Alva Edison successfully made 1,093 patents & invented such incredible things like the light bulb and the first motion picture camera ever? He was partially deaf since kid, so he read a lot.

What makes you think a multitalented celeb Maudy Ayunda can even balance her music career, filming career, as well as her education so that she enrolled in both wold's top business schools Harvard and Stanford? She likes to read.

Knowledge should be free, but books aren't.

So if you have plenty of books inside your shelf, please consider yourself as the lucky one.
