the best thing I can offer is that people dont judge you as much as you think they do. remember that how you view others is how others will likely view you. That person's not so skilled at something? You wouldn't judge them, you probably wouldn't even care that much, so why should you believe others will judge you?

also anyone who's good at anything started out as a fumbling beginner, so if they judge someone else for being a beginner, then they're a hypocrite and that's on them.
