I MADE IT IN TIME!!!! BEHOLD!!!! CAINE WALKING JEJEEJEJRRR
He’s on his way to the nearest movie theater to watch his show play out.
This was one of our assignments for the classical animation class. Doing a walk cycle with whatever character we chose. The intention was to try out one of our short film’s character, but since mine are not human I had to use some other character instead.
SO I CHOSE CAINE DIGITAL CIRCUS! Since he is my favorite from the show and the movie is releasing tomorrow (soon while I was working on the animation).
We still haven’t learned a whole lot on compositing yet, so I used some simple tutorials to get the shading done. Nothing too complicated.
Also it’s done on 1s, so that it wan be used with a scrolling background without the feet slipping. It was long and a little tedious but I am very happy with the final result.
How you got me feeling like ever since you asked about using my Angel design LOL.

I was asleep when this was sent but what a thing to wake up to lmfao. LISTEN THE DESIGN IS REALLY REALLY GOOD! Artists usually have a better eye for alterations than I do, and I was like DARN I wish I thought of that design. Simultaneously, the point of the Asriel vessel was that the Angel has very little that makes them unique, so I knew I couldn’t use it.
But then I realized that there was a scene way later on where the Angel starts trying to find ways to make their vessel more comfortable and it clicked. I hope the scene was good! I had to make some compromises on it which I’m highkey still sad about but unfortunately it was necessary.
Also you draw my fursona like an absolute goober. I love it lmao. Goofiest mf imaginable. The art made me laugh so much.
But!!! I also think it’s super cool when readers affect the story just by being that invested and by god this design was one of them. The Angel just getting a little bit more comfortable.
Someone should give the Angel a Asriel-like chew toy I think. Yknow since they like both biting and shaking. Could work as enrichment probably.
Did a very quick lil animation with a grand total of 4 drawn frames. I love you procreate, but damn are you tedious to animate in.

Chapters: 35/? Summary:
Years pass. People grow. The world moves on without you. The Angel grew content with that for a while. It still hurt whenever they thought of the world that had long banished them, but something new pulled them out of the depths. Now, the Angel walks amongst friends who swear that they will not be banished. Kris, Susie, and Ralsei mean everything to them. Maybe this time, their banishment doesn’t have to be as set in stone as they thought.
The Roaring comes. The light falters. Everyone falls.
A desperate connection is established in an attempt to save what remains of the Angel. If they fall, all hope will be lost. The world that banished the Angel long ago has forgotten them, but they have not forgotten it. This connection will have to be enough. Even if the rules have changed irrevocably, the Angel’s one goal remains the same: Find them.

Very quick sketch while I rewatched Scott Pilgrim Takes Off. I’ve been busy doing uni work and obviously not playing tomodachi life at all.
Anyway I am experiencing a relapse on a small obsession of mine being Matthew Patel. It’s is 100% NOT related to adding a Mii version of him to an island of some kind.
I struggle to do fanart for shows/movies I like sometimes since I focus too much on the mistakes while sketching, so a lot of those usually get scrapped.
I want to get better at that however, so MAYBE expect some more of this guy. I swear he is one of those characters genetically crafted to get lodged in my brain forever.

Effect animation is a beast that I have to learn. That doesn’t mean I have to suffer too much tho, since we’re given the free will to add other stuff.
Like for example a small bit of character animation/acting!!!!!! And also I get to add Skape and no one can say no to me >:D
The focus in this one was to practice water drops and to make an explosion and its fade away.
