          Olruggio's  drawn  tone  fully  draws  his  attention,  turning  away  from  the  window he sat next to.  It  is  as  much  a  balm  to  him,  as  it  is  a  cause  for  worry.  A  delicate  balance,  one  he  has  grown  quite  good  at  masking  with  effortless  ease.  As  he  does  now,  with  a  calm  smile  and  a  soft  reply.  "  Of  course-  but  you  know  they  look  up  to  you  too  Olly.  Our  watchful  eye...  "  he  pretends  of  course  not  to  have  heard  his  bit  about  him  slacking.  Him?  He  hardly  has  time  for  it.  But  it's  better  to  accept  an  assumption  over  admitting  the  truth.  "  Coco  especially...  I  dare  say  she  admires  you  and  your  ingenuity  even  more  than  me.  "

"I'm just doing my duty, keeping an eye on you all... I'm no teacher..." his tone takes on a gruff undertone, one that tends to mark his discomfort in being actively described as someone to look up to. He's not unaware of how the girls turn to him, but he still gets flustered at the idea. He cannot care for them as Qifrey can; one dedicated to being the flame to guide their way, or scald them when they stumble on the path as he is. He has duties that conflict with the care he shows rather than says. "She marvels at every little bit of magic, it's nothing special..." he grouses, but there's a warmth in him as he remembers how thrilled Coco had been to know it had been he who made the magic that allowed her to dream. How accomplished he felt in knowing his work had meant so much to her. "She admires your water magic just the same."

A shift of messily draped fabric and a stifled yawn precedes Olruggio's answer, the remenants of his exhaustion from diligent hardwork still clinging to his frame. "She's finding her feet..." he agrees, mulling over the thought of the girl in question, her development propelled forward by her love for magic and desire to undo what has been done. He might not have agreed at first, and yet now, he can admit that she is a good fit for their atelier. "Perhaps... but you still have to do your part. No slacking off just because they are learning independently. They still look to you."

There's at least one old lady in every village they help out that calls Agott Olruggio's teenage hardworking daughter
