TikTok is an evil place but I do like seeing regular people with extremely niche interests post about them unabashedly. My recent discoveries have been Bambi/Simba AUs and intricate FNAF/Chuck E. Cheese crossovers and gym bros pretending to have an inner life with the MLP cast where they’ll edit in Rainbow Dash doing backflips with them. This is just what creative people do when they have time and energy and no obligation to appeal to anyone but themselves. Very very neat.
