Patient has been positioned and legs were placed on the stirrups . The patient is obese and will need double intubation While intubating the patient a 22 ET tube was placed and cuffed immediately after a OG tube was inserted all the way down to the individuals intestine to suction out the stomach content and decompress the abdomen. Our Pre op nurse has done a fine job cleaning out the umbilicus and sterilizing the apron abdomen a speculum has been placed and catheter inserted as we will be using a hysteroscope during the procedure and access the belly button which will be dissected from the bottom of the umbilical stalk to remove the IUD. The abdomen will be deflate and reconstruction of the umbilicus after it’s successful removed. Who wants to go next?
