I spend most of my time reading, listening to music or looking for new podcasts. Libraries are probably my favourite places, and my headphones are with me almost all the time.

I like quiet afternoons, rainy weather, tea, long playlists, and stories that stay with you long after you've finished them. I'm not great at talking about myself, but I try.

My friends mean a lot to me. Charlie Spring (@cfspring59), Nick Nelson, Tao Xu, Elle Argent, Darcy Olsson and Tara Jones, somehow make school a little less overwhelming. They probably don't realise how much I appreciate them.

Been thinking about it for years but im actually doing it it feels wierd but hopeful might also end up doing a story driven series (REALLY pulling an aled haha) because that seems fun and I have written stuff for it idk maybe we will see

It was getting late at this point, and I had to get back soon. Paris would soon be waiting for me.

I didn’t know what to tell her. Of course I still wanted to look for Adhil and Adhafera, of course I know better than to trust a stranger in the City telling me she’ll take care of them for me. Yet I felt as though it would be a terrible mistake not to listen to her, like she knows something I don’t.

‘Stranger danger’ is the motto you need to survive here, you know that, old sport. But what if it’s different if I need my friends to survive?

How would I explain this to Paris? How could I tell her I changed my mind without seeming either inconsistent or dangerously gullible?

The thing is, she hasn’t come back.

Paris… is missing.

I don’t understand how this could happen. It’s like everyone I meet ends up swallowed by the City, some way or another.

I went back to our— her hideout, and waited for her to come back. I don’t know how long I waited, but it was long enough to know whatever’s holding her up is bad.

I prefer patrolling when I’m just making sure everything is okay. 

I’m on the rooftops now, following a group of cyborgs of the latest generation roaming down in the streets. A group this large is bound to lead me to something… I just hope Paris will be alright until then. There’s twenty of them, all going in the same direction. I can’t remember the last time I’ve seen this many together.
