This is so true for me.
There's a reason for Parents, a reason for Grandparents, one is supposed to support the 1st in the raising of the children. But not dictate the process. The same is true for all outside influences unless the Parents are endangering their children. Then and only then should the church, the school, and Yes, the government (State or Federal) get involved in the family and their affairs unless asked to do so.
Granted if there are any signs of danger, mistreatment etc.... these are all exceptions to the rule.
I can work with this.

Fingal’s Cave Scotland’s Hidden Stone
How To Track Sexual Harassment At Work
7 Proven Strategies
Hey Tumblrs,
Here's a quick reference for you on how to do it right – based on personal experience and an exclusive interview with Sailor Mercury.
I know documenting definitely won’t make it stop, but trust me, it can help out big time if you ever need to prove what happened.
1. Start now The sooner you start keeping notes, the more accurate and complete they will be. You don’t have to know yet whether you’ll ever use them. At this point, you're just keeping your options open.
2. Write down what happened, right away Write down the date, time, location, who was present, and what happened. Include all the details you can remember, and note whether you or the harasser told anyone about it afterward. Include direct quotes if you remember any.
3. Save every scrap of supporting evidence Keep texts, emails, voicemails, photos, and schedules – anything that could help to show what happened. Take screenshots of your call logs if they're relevant.
4. Describe how the harassment affected you personally Write down how the harassment made you feel and what impact it had on your life. Did it affect your sleep, mood, or health? Did it cost you money?
5. Describe how it affected your ability to do your job Write down how the harassment changed things for you at work. Did it make it harder for you to do your job? Did your performance or reputation suffer? Were you punished for complaining?
6. Keep your documentation private and safe Store everything in a secure place that your employer can’t access. Make sure you have access from your personal accounts, not just work accounts.
7. Keep your records up-to-date Every time something new happens – or you remember something – add it to your notes. Notes you make over time, soon after each event, are generally taken more seriously than something you write all at once later.
Be well, frens.

Many act as if slavery was a uniquely American crime.
“One reason,” says author Wilfred Reilly, “is that a lot of black people survived here.”
He argues that much of what Americans are taught about slavery is just wrong:
Why is such a false history of slavery taught in American schools? 🤔
It’s democrats trying to re-write history to blame republicans!
Oprah has to lie about it because of her "I'm a victim and somebody owes me" mantra ...
P.S. Does Disney know that Pocahontas was only 12 years old ...

Absolutely vital information to have if you live where the waters freeze over.
I especially appreciate this guy's commitment to actually showing the steps himself. That cold-shock response is a bitch and willingly subjecting himself to it couldn't have been fun.
I don’t live anywhere near water like this, but I am still memorizing this knowledge because:
* I might use it in a story someday.
* Any knowledge that staves off the dying is good knowledge.
I know I find it helpful when the reason we do things is explained. so the reason you are putting your arms wide and staying flat because you want your weight spread out over a large space. you know how when you have a pet sit on you, it's soft and comfy. but when you have a pet stand on you their little paws are a bit painful? that is because when they are lying down their weight is spread out over the whole loaf. but when they are standing that pressure is pin-pointed into the flesh underneath their pawses. the same is true about ice. when you stand on weak ice all of your weight is pressed into one small place. spreading your arms when you fall helps distribute what little weight is above the water over more of the damaged ice. witch can keep your head above water. getting a lungful of freezing water right at the beginning is a big risk of falling into cold water. because not being able to breathe makes it harder not to panic. and drawing in a bunch of cold water into your chest cavity will lower your temperature quicker. so then getting yourself to lay flat and swim/pull forward helps spread your weight over the most ice as possible and brings you closer to the shore, or thicker ice. its better to stay as spread out as possible until you are certain you are on something that will hold your weight. notice he tests the ice before getting on hands and knees. he doesn't stand up. you don't want to think you're safe and then fall threw again. finally, if you fall threw thin ice on a day that is below 40F or 4.4C it is an EMERGENCY. you need to GET WARM AND DRY ASAP. yes that's not a typo 40F(4.4C) that's ABOVE freezing. hypothermia isn't frostbite. it's about losing body heat faster than you can make it. you need to get out of the cold. you need to get your wet clothes off. you need to get your temperature up safely. you ideally should have someone who can help you through the recovery process. stress, panic, and cold can all alter your decision-making and memory. if you are not certain you can get warm fast. PLEASE CALL AN EMERGENCY SERVICE. as always if you see a medical emergency and recognise that an emergency service should be called. Point to ONE person specifically and tell them to call BEFORE you start helping. (i don't know how to help someone actually ill go look it up after and you should too). if it's just you with the other person make the call immediately, quickly give your location and situation. "I'm at this river near this road. my friend just fell threw the ice." then give help to the best of your ability. not only will this give the most time for services to find you, but the person on the other end is trained to help you through an emergency and might have advice on how to get everyone safe enough to survive until pickup. (i don't know for sure about this emergency but in do know they'll talk you threw chest compressions if you aren't cpr trained)
Soul connection is everything.
