I’ve certainly jumped down the Homestar Runner rabbit hole. As of late, I've been practicing with quick oil paint sketches and ended up with some TMBG ‘Tropical Lazor Beams’ as a result. 😅
I've launched an artist website!
Under the TMBG Archive Project page, I have digitized and compiled a great portion of my memorabilia collection into a digital flipbook, which includes newsletters, press photos, ticket stubs, and more!

Entry for the TMBPTMBG coloring contest. Inspired by vintage phone books. @tmbgdotlove
Portrait of the Johns “written” with my ‘50s typewriter.
They’ll Need A Crane Flans- Charcoal on 18” x 24” paper.
BOOK/THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS Parody of the Simon & Garfunkel album Bookends. Drawn in Procreate.
Here are some sketches in various stages of completion. My college coursework has put a damper on my creative productivity, but I do have some more significant projects in the works. The watercolor drawing was a bit of an experiment with line art (I was too chicken to paint the face.)

A bit of a departure from my typical art style, this drawing is a parody of Klaus Voormann's design for the album Revolver by The Beatles. To strike a balance between the original cover art of each Beatle and the Johns, some features were intentionally over/under-exaggerated. Drawn in Procreate.
The Flansy sequel to my blue Linnell painting. 12”x16” Oil on Canvas
I received a suggestion from the Miscellaneous T Facebook group a while back to paint this. I feel like I may finally be living up to 24hr-coffee name with the innumerable cups of coffee I’ve consumed throughout the painting process 😅. 24” x 36” Oil on canvas.
In honor of Linnell’s birthday, I made this digital drawing of JL’s hairstyles through the years!
I found this illustration of Linnell from one of the 90s TMBG newsletters and thought that it would make for a good sticker. I then realized the number of similarities between the illustration and a painting I did a while back. 😅

This picture was sort of an experiment using soft & firm pastels on sanded paper.
This project was initially a coffee-fueled attempt to paint an image in one sitting. That didn’t happen, though - it took me around 20 hours to complete this painting. 😅
12″ x 12″ oil on canvas.
