kip in prison

in 2018, a group of lawmakers was made to research how children are treated in prison/ courts. a number of them were invited to kip’s prison to get to know the inmates and be able to meet directly.

a meeting was organised that kip attended, along with other inmates of his and the guests, and all sat in a big circle. everyone knew kip and what he had done so it was quite uncomfortable.

some of the guests later said that when they saw him, they thought about walking out.

various questions were asked, including “what’s something that you’ve wanted to do but have never done?”

to this, kip answered that he has always wanted to go to a concert.

"I am a horrible son. I wish I had been aborted... God damn these VOICES inside my head."

Matti Juhani Saari did not fare well in his military service. A fellow soldier interviewed by Iltalehti recalls that Saari was the target of bullying and that the man did not internalize shooting skills at the same pace as the rest of the group.

According to the fellow soldier, Saari had to practice assault firing drills alone dozens of times using dummy rounds, and no one wanted to be paired with him for live-fire assault exercises.

Finally, Saari was allowed to engage in heavy firefights, where an accident occurred. Saari illegally fired from behind his combat partner, even though according to instructions, only the soldier in front was allowed to fire.

Regarding the incident, Saari remarked: "Too bad I forgot to aim."
