Errrm my roommate in the psych ward still and rent is due today idk what to do…im seeing if maybe her mom can send me money and I’ll pay the landlord and then she can pay her mom back? Idk i just don’t want her to get in trouble and/or have to explain her situation to the landlord if she doesn’t want to

Im gonna wear my wolf ears to the breakfast sandwich place I don’t care about anything my best feiend shot herself in the leg in front of me liteeally nothing matters anymore

Ok she is officially admitted aahhhhh I really hope they treat her better because it’s a voluntary hold but I have little experience w that. But from friends we talked to, it seemed like when someone goes in voluntarily they are treated more like a person which is gross but if it works in our favor this time then whatever

Omfggg every place we called was either full or refused to answer if there were open beds or not without her going to the ER first… we called at 7 am bc last night, chicago behavioral health told us we could secure a bed that way but they were all taken before we even called. two friends are now taking her to the ER. she agreed to go and they all insisted that I rest. Why does everyone act like it’s so easy to get someone admitted to a psych ward… as if you can just throw them in there.

The only scary part i guess is I had to take off work and my job is mad at me blah blah whatever.,…I told the COO who is acting as our manager rn (bc my manager quit haha) about what’s going on to get ahead of any issues I may have at work. And she was like “ohh yeah that sounds hard but at the end of the day, nothing she does is your responsibility and you have to look out for YOU :)” like ofc that’s what she said but whatevezrrr just because you would have let her die in my scenario does not mean I should have…. And I have 40 hours next week which will make up for it a bit but I am scared bc I only work 20 hours a week usually and I don’t know if I can physically handle it, im part time for a reason…but idk we will see what happens I guess

And the plan now is for her to do a voluntary hold at the psych ward we found the best (not good, but relative best) reviews for in a decent radius of the city. We worked with her therapist over the phone and got him to be ok with us watching over her for the day, because the hospital she chose doesn’t have an open bed until tomorrow morning. But yeah we’re calling first thing in the morning and already have a ride arranged with friends, no scary expensive ambulances, and right now we are watching anime and I’m working on a written list of phone numbers for her to bring in so she can still call people without her phone. Basically we are trying to make this as un-scary as possible, since she’s had so many horrible experiences being involuntary hospitalized. If anyone has advice (if this is even coherent im on like 2 minutes of sleep in the past three days) I am open to it ❤️

Last night my roommates mom showed up with very little notice and my roommate took off and we had to go chase her down and wait with her until her mom offered to leave… she just got spooked really bad but it makes sense that her mom found out and just like showed up bc that’s . Her baby. But still it spooked her so bad. But I am somewhat glad she showed up because I didn’t want any of my friends or myself to have to get rid of the weapon. Bc tbh I felt so much dread even touching it while it was unloaded and disabled. And her mom offered to get rid of it for us.

It honestly helps so much that I have a fabulous pedicure while all this is happening. Like I’ll be freaking out begging the universe to let everything go okay and I look down at my feet and im like oh yasss pink rainbow holographic on my toes…
