We had billeted a small cottage on an Island near the Caverns, where there a few fisher folk still living, though it was not much to look at, it did provide us with a roof over our heads for the night.

The first cavern was located in a what now the willowwacks of a remote Island that no one had visited in a century, it used to have many people living on them, when the volcano beneath the island was active, bringing rich nutrients to the surface and making food especially ripe.

The "Old Texts" were written in an ink that seemed to be amaranthine in its source, as looking at the pages and the content in them, it looked as if they were just printed, not a single page had faded of it color and strong strokes, something that we could not explain.

I was never a fan of wine that had its alcoholic content increased by chaptalizing, I could always taste the extra sugar that was added, completely ruining the taste of wine for me.

I recall my first walk through the science department towards Mary's lab, the walls were covered with insect specimens in a special box that made their nervure visible to the naked eye.

We had discovered an ambsace that was needed to be reached if we were to create the zero-point-energy from our interstellar drive which we had create based on the instructions in the "Old Texts".

I recall being gazumped when we initially signed the contract for our research project, we were promised a certain amount of autonomy but as we progressed further with our research our partners started sending in their people to watch us.

The "Old Texts" were written in aureate style of ancient times, which made people brush it off without looking at it further yet we were determined to get to the heart of the them and determine the secrets within.

I was shocked to see the deadpan expression on our guide that had me wondering what if he could be trusted or not entering into this cavern.
