Totally random post here, but kind of fun. So - I was going to just post up some of the inks from my pages for Kieron (Gillen) and Jamie (McKelvie)’s Young Avengers #14 as it’s been a little while since it was out now… but then thought it might be fun to post up side-by-sides showing just how much of an effect Lee Loughridge’s choices as the colourist had on the pages! For that last page especially I’d given direction of ‘some hazy disco lights, with the boys highlighted in the centre, as if by a spotlight’…but Lee’s take on it gave a sensation of everything around them moving fast and the boys being still and calm in the centre of it all - which I loved!
Lee is pretty fab. :)
