Tom absolutely loved his role as spiderman, when he was much younger he read the comics and even watched the films that had come out around the time. He idolised the idea of a superhero using his powers for good, but spiderman always stood out to him so when he got asked to play the role of spiderman he jumped at the chance.
"You must be Tom, come we've got to get you measured." Tom happily followed the director to the costume department where they had him measured, he was told to go home so they could make adjustments to the costume and he was buzzing the whole entire time.
Around lunchtime the next day Tom was called to set to try on his costume. He was there within minutes.
