              Whenever someone replied like that,        acted like they had seen something they couldnât really describe, it made him        even more certain that this was a case. No oneâ â unless they were used to        the supernatural would take such a  thing  seriously,  and  it  was  his  job  to        reassure the kid that whatever he saw, wasnât something he was  just  about        to laugh off.             â Donât worry about it,        whatever you have to say iâm sure iâve  heard  things  a  million  times  more        strange and unbelievableâ â                                and  donât  worry  about  me  blabbing  either,        all information is strictly confidential. â             Sam offered a reassuring smile with his words,        the best he could give to make him feel a little more comfortable and make        himself appear more trustworthy. Heâd been  doing  this  long  enough,  he        knew how it worked.
Persistent. Molars scraped against the pink flesh of the inside of his cheek as he looked into the manâs eyes. He knew that if he said nothing, he would seem suspicious. He knew that if he told even part of the real story, heâd be seen as crazy. However, that would keep the police, FBI, or anyone else who decided to pester him as far away as possible while he cleaned up the mess he made.
â...There was a shadow-like figure, dripping this black stuff that dripped off of it but never touched the ground. The stuff disappeared into thin air. I swear, it appeared out of nowhere.âÂ
Wrong. The shadow DIDNâT appear out of nowhere. The shadow could become hidden from sight, but left a trail. A trail of faint, sparkling dust one could only find if they were looking for it in the light of day. Cyr was still trying to figure out what was creating the trail, but just before the murder he had noticed that the trail had grown weaker. Did it pick something up from the warehouse he was staying in? Or was it fading out of existence? He knew better than to think the latter. His creations were much too powerful to simply fade away. They had to be KILLED, and luckily, he knew how to do it. But, if he didnât get away from this man soon, heâd lose any chance he had of finding it.
âI thought it was just my eyes, a figment of my imagination. I donât get much sleep so it was plausible. I watched it as it passed through the man, and moments later...â
He swallowed and looked away, as though reliving the memory pained him too much to continue. Truthfully, he was just angry. This could have been prevented. It was his fault for using his abilities more than he was supposed to. He knew better than that. In a softer voice, he finished his story.Â
âIt was like an explosion that happened in slow motion... If I knew it would do that I wouldâve done something sooner.â
Another lie. He knew what it would do. Itâs only that he usually was able to stop it before it killed anyone. But who would know? Certainly not this man. A mere mortal from a world pure of the horrors heâd experienced in his own lifetime.Â
???
Stretched fingers hover âpon holsterâs worn fabric; retreat, tentative, to the air. Anger, shame prickling outskirts of his mind â- he has a BLIND SPOT now. No problem had heâd been able to see. ( Useless. ) Hands above head, he turns; stares down the barrel of a gun. Swallows down the lump red-hot in his throat; exhales a breath to the air.
          â I donât have anything. Supplies. â
FEAR. He is no stranger to it. He wished he didnât have to be this way. He knew the kid probably wasnât going to cause him any trouble, but he is not a man of trust. His tone is calm, non-aggressive, almost monotonous.Â
âI donât care what you have. Whoâs with you? And don't lie to me, I'll know if you're lying.â
My activity here will be lower than usual.
FED.
              Sam would have loved to just let the kid go,        but there was a  R I S K  of more people dying because of this, and that        meant he couldnât go soft on them just because they had duties to their        family to keep up. Still he showed some sympathy at least, but he did        hope the guy understood why he simply couldnât wave goodbye to his        only lead.             â I promise this wonât take long,        as iâm sure youâve noticed this is an incredibly serious case, we have to        follow every lead we get. â        There were some things Sam could pick up,        one of these things being that the guy was nervous, and he was trying to        hide that fact in front of him, something that naturally caused Sam to be        more suspicious. But he had to go ahead as if he hadnât noticed that, the        best way to let the kid believe that Sam didnât have any distrust and was        as open minded as he could be.                 â Did you see anything that happened here? â
His weight shifts from one foot to the other. The victimâs body was shredded, as if slid into a paper shredder. His head was tossed some distance away from the rest of him, and ironically, still whole and recognizable. Ocyrusâ illusions had created true terrors before, but NONE like this. This was absolutely horrific. There was no lie great enough to come anywhere close to masking the truth.Â
âYeah. Unfortunately. . .âÂ
He pauses      takes a few seconds to confirm whether or not heâd tell a partial truth. At the time, he was no more than a witness. He was not accused, and he was not at fault. There was no physical evidence that could prove ANYTHING. And technically, it was not his hands that committed the murder.
âIâll tell you right now, you wonât believe me. But, if you still want to hear it, Iâll talk. Just, PLEASE donât go around telling everyone how crazy I am. Itâs a small town, word gets around, and I donât really like being in the spotlight. Iâd rather you just tell âem I didnât see anything worth bringing up.âÂ

     âthis sounds like a really bad trip, Iâm kinda for it.â
âShould I ever find out if the Lord of the Rings universe really exists, Iâll definitely let you know.âÂ

  âuhm â CREATIVE. I like it though, all for confusing important   authors of their own characters, right? or, you could go tell   legolas that some man created him named tolkien, REALLY   confuse him.â
âOr do BOTH. . . I like the way you think.âÂ

    âmm â anything, I SUPPOSE. go wild.â
âThen Iâd go to the universe of Lord of the Rings and steal a lock of Legolasâ hair. Then go back to the time when Tolkien was still alive and give him the lock of hair. Iâd tell him exactly who I got it from and how, and then for the rest of his life he would be left wondering if I was serious, crazy, or just pulling his leg.âÂ

@chaoticborn·
               It shouldnât have felt so  N O R M A L ,         to stand over a dead body like that and just think that i was another day on         the job. Eyes avoiding the flash of cameraâs, the nosey neighbours here to         see what happened to poor frank who lay in pieces along the road,  a  few         questions being thrown his way due to his guise as a member of the  F B I .         But Sam needed answers not questions,         eyes wandering to find a male much younger than himself. He had been on         the scene before anyone else had arrived, perhaps that was the best place         to start.               â Excuse me,         iâd like to ask you a few questions if thatâs alright? â         A quick  F L A S H  was given of his badge,         hopefully enough for him to simply want to hand over some answers.
DAMMIT. Heâd done it again. His imagination had fooled him, and without trying he created a monster and SET IT FREE into the world. He didnât mean to unleash a monster that would KILL an innocent person. He had been hoping to find it before it hurt anyone, but apparently, he was much too late.Â
His thoughts were tangled, a mess of possible plans of action and questions regarding the creatureâs location. The agent was the one to finally break his chaotic chain of thoughts. A wave of panic crashes over him, though he does not express this outwardly in any way. What could he possibly tell this man that would make a lick of sense? He had no reason to be out on the road on foot at this time, and the gods knew he was a TERRIBLE liar.
Nonetheless, he keeps a calm tone and expression as he conjures up an excuse to get away from the investigator.Â
âI should really be getting home. My little brotherâs staying at my house right now and I told him Iâd be back as soon as possible.âÂ
DAMIAN
@chaoticborn
  âokay, SERIOUS question â if you could do      anything right now, what would it be?â
âDepends, are we talking something that is actually physically possible or just anything?â
LYDIA
@chaoticborn
Lydia was in the corner of the room. She was crouched in the corner, fingers entangled in her hair. She started to gently rock back and forth and the sound emitting from her lips was somewhere between a hum and a sob. Papers were strewn about her room. The walls were scratched to match her arms. SHE WAS OFF HER MEDS. But she needed to be! Or how else would she w r i t e? âOzzy,â she croaked out. ââŠThe voices arenât going away.â And neither were the hallucinations. Every time she opened her eyes or lifted her chin, she saw them.Â
Papers strewn about, hallucinations         he knew exactly what was going on. Ocyrus stepped cautiously into the room; each step hesitant, careful not to step on or CRUMPLE any papers as he passed. He stopped a few feet from her and crouched before her. Comforting was never his strong suit, however, heâd do his best to do what he could to help his dearest friend. His voice was gentle, soft.
âHow can I HELP you right now? Just tell me what youâd like me to do.â
CASSIE
â You know where we are, whatâs here. Do you HONESTLY think I could find something MEANINGFUL in a place like this? â His true intentions he tried to make clear, the hidden meanings laced in his forthright words he tried to expose. But he knew he was failing, &. this DAMNED conversation would go nowhere if he chose not to be truly HONEST. &. the half witch was even more confused about how they got to this point, &. why. Was Cyr not  h a p p y with the life Cass had provided for him? Had he himself not been better at raising him? Had he failed, miserably &. effortlessly, to do the one thing he tried so TEDIOUSLY to do? &. Why would he worry about his well being, when not even Cass himself thought it to have ANY importance at all? Cassianâs mind tumbled and quaked with questions, with possibilities and theories he had never thought he could conjure up. &. for he and Ocyrusâ case, he hoped they proved to be false. â â- Where is this all coming from? â
âWhere it came from doesnât MATTER.âÂ
Terse, rigid words are spoken to AVOID answering Cassâ question. His tone as biting and cold as can be, more than he'd even meant for his words to come across. His words and tone never failed to compensate for his lack of physical expression. The recesses of a demonâs mind ( even if he is only HALF ) is a dark place heâd never in a million years completely reveal to his brother. A talent of his had always been burying his feelings and locking them away for âanother timeâ that had yet to come.Â
He quickly decided that he need not worry Cassian with further confessions. It was clear that Ocyrus had caused him ENOUGH concern for one day. The change in his tone is abrupt; a complete contrast. The slightest smile is etched upon porcelain features.
âIt was just a thought, CASSIE. No need to get your panties in a twist.âÂ

    âare you sure? i couldnât accept your money. you earned it.â he doesnât mention, heâs undeserving of such kindness & that heâs grown weary of those who show it. his old self would chastise his future self, but he would only remind him of april : the ALLEGED kindness had killed him when he took it.
âYes, and now I am giving it to YOU.âÂ
If only his brother could see him now. Random acts of kindness were so rare, he was uncertain that his brother had ever witnessed him perform one before.Â
âIf you cannot find use for it, then feel free to pass it on to someone else who looks like they could use it. My only wish is that this bill helps SOMEONE along its way.âÂ
