Can you guys picture Paul saying stuff like this today? Because I definitely can't, lol:

As I've said before, it's so intriguing how all these marriage and romantic "metaphors" whenever he was explaining his relationship with John just completely vanished from his vocabulary since the 90s, even though he candidly and openly used them so many times during the 80s. Just like he randomly revealed (also in the 80s) that John told him that Jealous Guy was about him, but he has never brought it up again. I feel like this isn't talked about enough...

i find that first image so telling about their relationship - they were always looking at each other, and at the least always touching one another - not in the intimate sense but rather holding hands, hugging, and even just playful roughhousing.

it's clear that they valued their physical bond and i suspect they were more comfortable with it in private.

"I was thinking the other day, ‘I wish I had sat and just hugged John all the time when we were together. (…) I’d just sit around and hug him forever. That’s the depth of my feeling for him." (Paul McCartney, 2020)

PLAYBOY: “Do you stick pretty much together off-stage?”

JOHN: “Well, yes and no. Groups like this are normally not friends, you know. They’re just four people out there thrown together to make an act. There may be two of them who sort of go off and are friends, you know, but…”

John's self interview, 1974. It's interesting beacuse he is the one asking the questions too. It's also odd because there wasn't really any talk in the media at the time about John and Paul having a relationship, or at least not that we're aware of.

Hellooo!! I'm working on a new little McLennon comic, it's taking me a bit longer than the previous ones hahaha but I thought I'd share some little updates for once :p

I've finished the lineart, all that's left is rendering (very long process); I think I'll be done by next week!

As for my process, nothing's changed, I always start with a paper sketch then go straight to digital (and for once I skipped the detailed sketch to save some time)
