But is there no more Wolfstar without Jegulus? 😟 It feels so wrong to be saying this because I usually do not care as there is always an option to scroll down and away. But it seems like, with this particular ship, it is kind of impossible. I used to love coming to this app and scrolling the wofstar tag for hours, but now every second post is either paired with jegulus or have a hint of it.

And no, I’m not a hater. I have read and loved the popular fics of this ship (crimson rivers and choices and etc) but I just could never bring myself to ship these two characters?

Maybe it’s because I love Jily and grew up reading Jily, although I genuinely don’t think Jegulus is a threat to it or anything; I thoroughly believe that no ship becomes lesser if a character is being shipped with multiple other characters - that’s fine with me.

I do think Jegulus minimizes Regulus’ role in wolfstar fics. I still wanna read about him as Sirius’ brother and their complicated relationship, as a competition to James to see who is a better brother to Sirius, a friend or rival to Remus - any and all sorts of non-romantic relationship with the marauders and even fics that explore Regulus’ character individually… but lately, all I’m getting is “oh yeah, sirius and regulus have a complicated relationship because of their parents but now its all magically fixed (or became even more complicated) because of james!” Like, no thanks.

But idk, I just can’t get rid of the feeling that Jegulus is being shoved in the face a bit? Or maybe its just me. I never had a problem with Jily or Dorlene or Fralice as background ships in Wolfstar fics, like I do with Jegulus.

But I've never connected to it so much until I watched RWRB and ALMOST EVERY SONG FITS PERFECTLY WITH HENRY AND ALEX'S STORY. lmao, its so insane and also strange!
