Wait sorry one last ask bc something you said in the last one got me excited thinking about it and I wanna hear your analysis on it because I KNOW it'd be so good ^_^
You said how Gwen's out here basically being plagued by visions with how OP'd her spider sense is, could you talk about the possibilities/repercussions about her sense being so strong, like it could basically be a premonition sometimes and imagine if she gets these visions from the spider sense that only give her part of a future event, like a super vague vision: just cryptic pieces of a larger cryptic puzzle that she'd have to figure out, and how difficult that might be for her to grapple with or how she could mess up trying to avoid whatever she thinks her spider sense vision is trying to warn her about, just. OOF really tough stuff, yknow? Her enhanced spider sense working like premonition might freak her out a lot.

I mean if you think about it, that's kind of what happened to her in ITSV, except it wasn't played as being uncomfortable for her or anything? She tells Miles "My Spider Sense told me to head to Visions Academy. I wasn't sure why... until I met you."
Like??? She's literally out here putting together puzzle pieces, like you said. Of course it's not clear on the outside how much that bothers her, because she's in her "I'm cool and confident and definitely not grieving and nothing bothers me ever" mode.
I imagine her feelings on it would have to do with how creepy the premonition is and how much she trusts her Spider Sense? Well, though, to be fair if the premonition was creepy that'd give her more motivation to do what her Spider Sense tells her to avoid it, I guess (since Spider Sense is supposed to keep you out of danger). But how much she trusts it... hmmm.
ONE: I feel like she'd have two wildly different feelings about it based on how it went down with Peter. Like, if her Spider Sense failed her ("failed") and just told her to fight back, she might have a crisis afterwards where she doesn't want to trust her gut anymore, because what if it's missing that nuance? BUT imagine if her Spider Sense was trying to tell her something. Like it was giving her confusing mixed signals of "friend??? foe??? fight??? careful???" and she didn't understand it and she was kind of in the middle of something so she just ignored it and tried to fight back. And now she regrets that. So so much. Because now she understands what it was trying to tell her. And that's why she tries to follow her Spider Sense as much as she can, now, even when she doesn't understand what it's telling her completely.
TWO: When they're chasing Miles, Jess tells Gwen something like, "I know he's your friend, but it's the only way!" And Gwen goes, "But my gut says--" and Jess says, "Then use your head!"
And Jess rides off and Gwen looks all conflicted and stuff.
Imagine if Gwen's been getting a bad feeling all throughout her time in the Spider Society. Like this ominous Spider Sense gut feeling that this place does not end well, these choices she's making will not end well--etc. She knows that something about the Society is wrong, or is going to go wrong, she knows it in her gut.
But she has no other options. Nowhere else to go. And everybody keeps telling her to ignore her gut and listen to her head.
And so she tries to do that, for the first time in years, she tries to ignore her Spider Sense. All the while knowing somewhere deep down that something is very, very wrong.
...And, so I don't leave on a super angsty note, imagine if that's what gives her the courage to go visit Miles even when she's not allowed to. She sets the coordinates for 1610 and debates over where in New York she wants to land, and is kind of hesitating on it in her mind, and switches it over to the coordinates for where Miles is--not because she's thinking of doing it too seriously, but because she likes to imagine and pretend sometimes.
But a little insistent voice whispers to her, yes, yes, yes, you need to do that. do it NOW.
It's the first right, good feeling she's gotten from her Spider Sense in months. So she just has to chase it. Her old habits of always following her instinct are still there, just enough.
