Moarr Den Yeets De Aye

Issue 6 was a blast to read through, mostly because I love looking at the dynamics between Pre-war OP and Megs. Amazing dialogue, loved the bit about equilibrium, done splendidly in ways that felt natural and at the same time poetic.

Art is gorgeous in this panel, we got some answers but still have enough missing little pieces to keep the mystery going. Really getting a lot more backstory to how Megs and OP ended up awkward acquaintances and how the situation in Cybertron came about. Love the little skydiving bit as well, great contrast between the fun and light hearted moments framed by the more solemn and serious parts. Great issue, almost up there with issue 2 I would say

Issues 4 and 5 were a wild ride...still have many unanswered questions (who is Codexa etc.) but I'm willing to wait it out. Starting to seem more interesting, we're slowly figuring out the way Cybertron works in this continuity and was quite surprised that they made [character] turn to the Ascenticons. Interesting take on said character, would love to see how things turn out.

Okkervil River

I find it amazing that MTMTE/LL, a comic book series (i.e. a visual media which almost relies entirely on the sense of sight other than the onomatopoeic words that pop up now and then), has an "unofficial" official soundtrack. And that the soundtrack is so varied and fitting that I'm amazed James Roberts has the capacity to squeeze in the words and emotional resonance of each song in his brain along with the tightly weaved web of a plot that is the MTMTE series. How do you do that with all those songs?

Shattered Glass Universe but only with the bots' moral alignment switched. Personality traits (those that aren't affected by morality) remains the same

Megatron

Has a terrible temper and will throw things around (feels horrible for it afterwards and is trying to stop this habit of his)

Is oppressive and controlling because that's how he shows he cares (and because he's very much a perfectionist)

Hates humans/organics but will tolerate and put up with them because he knows that's right. Also is currently defending Earth from the Autobots

Starscream

Still traitorous and willing to ursurp Megatron because there are certain decisions he feels are better than what Megs has planned

Cunning and crafty and is not shy of bluffing his way through (will avoid lying however when lives are on the line and will still take some responsibility if he has caused significant damage)

His preservation of self comes across as selfish to most of the Cons, but he feels that the best way he can serve others is if he takes care of himself first

Soundwave

Speaks only when absolutely necessary but contributes much to the team

Still spies on everyone though (mix of paranoia and wanting to make sure everyone is okay)

Minibots look up to him and he looks after them. Feels bad for constantly asking them to risk their lives so will take into consideration the dangers of the mission before willingly sending his cassettes in

Shockwave

Willing to conduct mad experiments if the volunteers are willing (only if the risk is negligible and he is certain it has a high probability of working)

Highly logical and may not always agree with the Cons' decision as he is willing to sacrifice a few for the greater good (by few, he means not more than one Decepticon squad)

That said, he will deliberately travel to pick up the bodies of said Decepticon squads and honour them by placing their sparks in this memorial hall. Will do the same for any bot who has died in his experiments (only a handful have died and he aims to keep it that way)

Optimus

Cares for his bots under his care (mostly to keep them on his side)

Prefers not to use violence or torture methods so any prisoners that come in are either captured or given the lethal injection method (instant death, no blood spilt)

Believes in Prime supremacy and is confident, but not cocky (that was the reason the war started, he became a Prime and felt that he had certain privileges because he was doing much for the bots of Cybertron)

Prowl

Cunning and strategic, everything is literally just a numbers game for him

Scarily good at manipulating others because he is willing to do anything for the greater good (meaning the advancement of the Autobots cause)

Instead of flipping tables, he plays target practice with the heads of the dead prisoners to vent (Has on one occasion possibly manipulated the bots into killing one of the prisoners for the sole purpose of his sport)

Ratchet

Skilled with his hands, is the one who administers the lethal injection. Has done so on account of him having a "bad day"

Is grumpy all the time but gets things done (will hear a long rant filled with curses and gory analogies, though most bots have learnt to let his say his piece without interrupting)

Will throw wrenches and has an array of wrench weapons made by Wheeljack

Bumblebee

Child of the group, talkative and often says things he shouldn't (no one stops him though and he ends up being quite spoilt because of that)
