What better way to end it all?

I started this tumblr nearly two years ago, and it was wonderful. I was looking for a place where I could keep all things that inspire me, and write about how I was then, because I had already begun to feel everything slipping away with time. What I found was much more than that.

I made friendships here which I feel could last a lifetime or two.

Months went by and I got more and more followers, which I'll admit did help my confidence at a time when I probably really needed it. I consider myself lucky to have been connected to so many wonderful, inspiring, beautiful people. So for that, thank you. I don't think I had truly realized how big the world was until then. Or how small, really.

I remember I never understood why so many people would randomly leave tumblr. I thought this was, well, heaven, actually. But then, sometime at the beginning of this year, this awkward feeling started growing, like this had become something I had to do instead of something I wanted to. I didn't want to go then, because I had been so happy here, and I desperately wanted to find that again. I never expected to change, to grow, as much as I have.

I still think tumblr is an amazing place to meet some of the greatest people on the internet, and to explore your own creativity. But I think I'm ready to give real life a try now.

This has been one of the most memorable adventures of my life. I may sound really silly writing all this, but I think I owe it to some people here, who have always been so supportive and whom I hope I'll still be able to keep in touch with. I won't delete this account, and will keep posting for a few more days, but after that, it'll be over. I'll still reply to messages for a while, and if anyone wants my email, do ask.

I wish anyone who reads this a happy life. You are perfect to me.
