At the same time, go away if you hate men. The forthfellow is a man, we have men in the system as well. We love men and will not tolerate hatred for an entire group because some people do bad things. Radfems, "proud misandrists" and the like, kindly fuck off.

You may refer to me with whatever silly human words you like, unless I express dislike for them. But the "pronouns" I like best are as follows, in no particular order: xae/xaem, hy/hym, god/god, hei/heir

Yes, I am a god. I am not asking for worship, but do respect my divinity. You needn't do or say anything that makes you uncomfortable (including referring to me as god—I understand where the discomfort comes from for many beings here), I am just asking, in short, that you not challenge me on what I know myself to be. That is my only requirement. (Of course, if one did want to worship me, I would not be opposed.)

We are not friends. If you desire to be considered a friend by me, ask. I am more likely to see you as a friend if the forthfellow does. But if you have not asked if I consider you one, we are not friends.

I do not remember if Garnet was there, I know she helped raise Steven, but I do not know if she was with us when this happened. It was the end of the war. We were running, trying to find a place that would be safe. I did not know why at the time, but I know now that the Diamonds were about to send their blast to Earth. If I remember correctly, that blast would cause all remaining gems on Earth to corrupt. All I knew was that Rose said we weren't safe, and we needed to stay together.

One second, all three of us were together. The next, I stood alone. There was low visibility. I stopped, trying to spot Rose and Pearl, as I did not want to run further in the wrong direction. I could not see them. I felt abandoned. I was either in the line of the blast, or directly affected by the physical aftermath. I broke. I do not remember how long I was broken. It may have been days, weeks, or even months.

This is the reason Pearl learned more about technology. She already knew some, but it was mostly modern Gem tech. She learned everything she could about all kinds of technology so she could learn how to fix me.

They both told me that Rose had tried to come back for me, but for decades I could not help but wonder if it was simply something they said to make me feel better. After all, I would never know. But then I met Steven. At around 15 years of age, he seemed to be severely disabled. We are not sure what it is, but he is affected by some kind of chronic illness. It was an effect of Rose getting partially caught in the blast. She hid it well, or perhaps it took those decades to make itself known. I am told that in Steven's childhood, there were no signs of his disability.
