I’ve seen other people say this, but I’m going to yap abt it anyway, I think it was an amazing finale. We’ve all gotten so used to finales having big fights and shocking ends when there’s no strict rule that it has to be that way. Even if there was no big fight it still dealt with a lot of important character developments. Mark coming home and seeing the extent of his ptsd and seeing a main character, especially a male main character ask for therapy is so important. Not just that but we see Debbie’s development as well, how much she cares about Oliver too and how brave she really is while distancing herself from Nolan which I prefer to the comics. Everything with Eve was amazing too, I was scared they’d leave it out or keep her skinny but they stuck to it, and these past few years a storyline like that should be stuck to and stood by. And even without the big fight, the conversation with thragg was important, more so than a big fight I think because to me it’s scarier. To know the people you hate are hiding among the ones you want to protect, that they could turn on everyone at anytime and the only thing keeping people safe is this one decision you have to make is a battle in and of itself. So anyway, to me it was a great finale and a good deviation from the usual.
