you will never beat the biphobia allegations until you radically accept bisexuals who are stereotypical. you must accept the sluts, the polyamorous, the girls with straight boyfriends, the questioning, the confused, the unicorns, the ones who are in a phase and will eventually identify differently, and even the ones you suspect aren't truly bisexual but just want attention. take people at their word when they tell you who they are. let them live and express their identity as they see fit. happy bi visibility day

I don't know how to explain that bi4bi relationships between a guy and a girl can have a type of queer emotional complication you can find in songs about a lesbian teenager's heartbreaking friendships but can't find in any straight rom-com. How I have less in common with most heterosexual women than with my male bisexual friends. I don't know how to explain to you that the soul-shaking love I can feel for another queer person literally breaks all boundaries of gender that were ever set up to cage us into categories that never truly existed.

bisexuality is a sort of gender identity alongside my sexuality. It doesn't necessarily mean that i fluctuate between masculine and feminine, more so that my bisexual identity is rooted in all aspects of my being, and that i cannot exist without bisexuality. When i say my gender is bisexual it means that i hold fluidity and vastness within myself, that my internal soul and personhood is as limitless and boundless as my outward presentation and expression (a concept that i find is integrally linked to bisexuality)
