Haha, yeah! Me and Cam were actually talking about it in the DM's earlier today because we were both surprised so many people didn't know the reference! I'm not sure if it's a reflection of our age or exposure to pulp fiction or 80s pop culture, or if this fandom does just skew young sometimes, but I don't even think of Fabio as a niche reference, so it's wild to me that he's been received a bit as one.
It's a very fun thing for Lestat to bring up though, and Cam's thread really does perfectly articulate why!
