This is draft three of this post. The first was a rant about all the things I hated about myself, the second a slightly more coherent explanation of the kinds of fucked up I am, and now this.
Well, this is still kind of rambly, but shorter.
Basically, my life can be summed up with the phrase: chasing the dragon. My substance of abuse, the internet (mostly tumblr). And as with all addictions, as time passes, the drug's effectiveness decreases until you're left grasping for shadows of what it used to offer you.
I don't really know what I'm trying to accomplish being here anymore, why I even draw, why I even exist.
My greatest regret is that technology has not advanced far enough that I can donate my life, everything I've been blessed with, anything of value I may possess, to someone else. That I can't give my time to someone who deserves it more, someone who wouldn't just squander and waste it away. Anymore who isn't me.
I've been debating over the merits of deleting this blog, and to be honest, if I hadn't lost all the data when my computer crashed last summer, you'd be finding a deactivated account instead of this post.
So until I win over my sentimentality, this will just be an archive I suppose, of happier times. I'm not sure if I'll come back to this blog in the future, but either way, I'm just some stranger who makes shit doodles of no real worth.
As for the ask blog, well, I've lost my muse for a while now, and to be honest, the questions I've recently received don't help. Most of it falls under the category of: 1) repeats, 2) shipping questions, or 3) comments where "thank you" is the only appropriate response.
And then there's a few that make me want to go:
There's only one question left that I'd like to answer, the last one from before my hiatus that I haven't yet, and after that, well, that'll be on indefinite hiatus as well. For the few unfortunate enough to follow both and read this, it's a heads-up.
Besides, there's plenty of better Kuroko no Basuke ask blogs now. Go follow them and I'm sure they'll be much better at answering things than I've been..
So now that you also know I'm an ungrateful asshole and a jerk with no heart, that's one more reason all of you should just unfollow this blog. Seriously. Why would you follow the dead blog of a fucked up failure?
Thanks for all the great memories, for the support, for putting up with my ridiculous spams, and well, for virtually being there. And for the few (if any) who actually made it all the way down here, I'm sorry for your wasted time.
If you've ever enjoyed any of my posts, do me one last favor? Forget this post, forget everything here, click unfollow, and continue happily with your life.
Please.
