Protoframe Captura Contest Set!
hello everybody, i've escaped the depths of hell (temporarily) to show you my entry into the community protoframe captura contest!
i am a big default liker (for amir, i don't talk about anyone else) and often play with very little customizations because, well, i like him the way he is but obviously that wasn't gonna fly for a "fashion" contest so...
this is the one i went with after much deliberation with my friends and my internal inability to make decisions. there were plenty of other shots that did not make the final cut for various reasons.
here are all the edited ones that i didn't go with:
this one was super close but i didn't wait for the right expression so it was not picked.
i also really like this one but in my opinion it did not incorporate enough of the fashion and it wasn't really visible so i didn't pick it. but this was a strong contender among my peeps.
i also quite liked this one but i wasn't vibing really well with the background (and i wanted to refrain from any huge edits for the purposes of this contest).
that was the first batch of shots! you'll probably have noticed that the colors and even some of the attachments do not match the final result, and that's because i took two separate batches and batch 2 had slight adjustments after tinkering around with this set.
the accent color was switched from white/silverish to a nice gold. i also added the Oranist arm attachments. it's not visible here, but the leg attachments were switched as well from Prisma Latron to the Krtrima (omg Rima mention?). i also added the Sybillina Ephemera because i thought that was quite nice with Amir.
to be honest, i was concerned about how much visuals i was adding to him, which was why the first set lacked an Ephemera and arm attachments. but in the second set i decided to go with this anyway (i struggled with the idea of "fashion" contest vs "amir" contest LOL, i think he already looks great enough)
you'll notice that these were all taken in the same captura tile (Lavo's Playplace from 1999) and i think this area actually compliments the general vibe and aesthetic of the overall fashion quite well. the lightning and colors chosen were all a very cool purple/blue mix.
i toyed around with other tiles but only ended up contemplating the backroom tile here:
i quite liked how the color correction came out in these ones, the cool colors came through with this, but i also felt like the background did not really "do" anything for the overall fashion like the other tile did. and, among my fellow peeps that live in my pooter, no one actually chose the shots with the backroom tile, which i found very interesting.
special thanks to the pookies who live in my pooter that helped me make decisions and picked what they liked.
anyway, that's all i got!
