usps is struggling to stay in buisness. there have been plenty of attacks over the years to defund and dismantle the usps but things are looking pretty bad. if you are a small buisness owner / have an art shop USE USPS!
when i send stickers/prints i use postal stamps, and larger packages i ship through the post office. not only is it better for them, but insanley cheaper. stamps are about 70c per package, and heavy/international packages are sometimes 5x cheaper. ive been charged 40 dollars to ship a small letter at fed ex, and their services are not as robust as usps. support these workers, support the post office, and save money!
i see so many artists using shipping labels through etsy, shoppify, or ups/fed ex and its soooo much more expensive, and etsy convinced you that you need to buy its lables, but theres some workarounds that will save you so much on shipping AND offer free shipping for your customers too.
