3am thoughts

and, to think how the same separation can be felt and experienced so differently. one being in complete agony, constantly contemplating bridging the gap. the other blissfully unaware, carrying on widening the chasm one step at a time.

some i have written at 3am but most are written late at night or early morning after a sleepless night.

and, i think our souls have always found each other when we needed it the most.

here’s to the day where you show my mom why she has always been a hopeful romantic.

and, the thing about strength is that you don’t know how truly strong you are until you absolutely have to.

and, my mirror is as dirty as my mind.

love me out loud or not at all.

because you have always felt more than others.

did you leave me empty or did i empty myself for you?

and, there are parts of me dying. but were they ever alive?

disconnect to reconnect.

current mood: i deserve better.

and, i keep wondering: is it better to be the one doing all of the loving or the one being loved?

and, i’m so tired of my heart missing someone who’s never coming back.

and above it all, no matter what else you do today, make sure you show up for yourself.
