I’d like to think I deserve better than you after you asked someone else out right in front of me. But in reality /that/ just confirmed why I adored you so much. That girl you asked out wasn’t particularly pretty or had an amazing body. I know you chose her for her amazing personality, while I was so focused on trying to look pretty to grab your attention. You chose her for what matters, which just makes it so much harder for me to get over you. I’d like to think we could have been something but I’m already forgetting all the details of your appearance, so I’d like to think I can move on from you.”
