OH OH I've also been thinking A LOT about his craft! Yk since he's all about gadgets and inventions✨. I've come up with a few ideas but one that I really like are his soot darts!! They're similar to Grimmel's EXCEPT they don't take dragons down. They're for tracking. The dart is full of soot and when it hits the dragon, it expels the dust, which leaves a black trail (or cloud), and can go on for a few hours. These are generally useful but particularly good if facing sneakier dragons🐉

He DOES appear in Hiccup's dreams. Most of them are not nice. But there's a particular event that changes the trajectory of those dreams. Let's say even tho he keeps being a hunter, he's a little more at peace with himself. Just a little😬

Actually I haven't! I do know how that dynamic works and I follow a bunch of httyd artists that create some amazing new species! But it just never came to me, and I'm not one to force things to happen. I do love to add my own little headcanon features/abilities to already existing species! But who knows, maybe one day I'll come up with something new and original! And awww thanks!💜✨

They definitely did! Even tho Hiccup has always managed to do things in his own way, there's still stuff you can't do with brains alone. Perfect example: taking down a big flying beast-?. So yeah, he trained a bunch to build strength and the gang helped him a lot with that! They would train together very often and hype each other up! (when they were not competing ofc😆). And of course I can see Stoick giving him advice on specific movements or attacks when he had the time!
