Come for the Art, stay for the free yogurt

As self-pitying as this sounds, and really don’t wanna sound like those “ugh my art sucks” kinda people or whatever, but Ape Escape is honestly just one of those things I feel I can’t do justice with my skills yet. Like, I’ve never (or at least rarely) even made fanart of it, cause I don’t wanna make it look wonky. As far as my sense of humor goes, I wouldn’t wanna smudge my love for the series with like super bad humor of Spike like bashin a monkey repeatedly with the stun club or anythin like that ya know? I dunno, maybe one day. There IS a super huge lack of Ape Escape spoofs or parodies. I dunno, maybe with some requests one day I’ll have the will to do so.

nO but now THANK YOU NOW I HAVE ALMOST ENOUGH TO FILL THE GAPING HOLE IN MY HEART AND SOUL ONLY APE ESCAPE CAN FILL.I’M GONNA 

Yeah! Not to say that watchin’ Chris and the gang playin it pushed me to believe “This is it. If THEY’RE playin it, it MUST be big now!” or anything, but as soon as I saw people getting interested after that Speed Run event and of course DYKG acknowledging it and all, it seemed as it was inevitable.As far as how it SHOULD be made (sorry if this answer isn’t to the way you had asked the question), I think the most important aspect would be for the team that will be creating the game to not feel obligated to just pump out the next sequel, but that they should want to, know what I mean? I think I’ve said this before a while ago, of the importance of the creator’s passion to put into 4 (gosh willing it happens), and not put the focus into making the game purely for the purpose of launching into a successful 4-more-sequels kind of series.And if you mean how the new game should be made in terms of the game ITSELF, while I personally would want it to be jam-packed with tons and tons of features, like all 4 of the protagonists as playable characters, each of them having unique abilities and stuff, and maybe like a more “villainy” direction to take with Specter, like maybe now, even without his modified Peak Point Helmet, after the constant use of it, his brain had retained some of the knowledge and like, I dunno, has more resentment towards humans to the point where he declares war on humanity, idk, something like that. Maybe the Pipo Trons pushed him towards the edge. Maybe the Pipo Trons hurt his trainer and blamed the humans I DUNNO what do I know. That’s what I’d WANT, somethin more action-y/story heavy, but if it came down to Sony/Ubisoft, I can say right now they wouldn’t wanna risk too much with the series, hence why they haven’t paid much attention to it for a decade now, so I know they’d wanna keep it a bit on the “safe side,” not take too many liberties, and basically make 4 like 3, except maybe with even more monkeys, and depending on the characters, more morphs, and including like Pipo Trons as a “new” threat.I dunno. All we can do is hope. Sorry for the long rant, but gosh golly Ape Escape makes me BANANAS. Sorry.
