After an item is sewn it usually takes 3 days to dye an item from start to finish. . EVERYTHING is white until I get ahold of it 😉! . I only use procion dyes that: 1. Only work on natural fibres. 2. Molecularly bond to the natural fibres during the dye process. All items: 3. Are sewn first then dyed. 4. Take 3 consecutive days to process an item from beginning to end. 5. Go through the steps of pattern planning 6. Are pre-soaked, dye application, let cure. 7. Are rinsed in cold water, rinsed in warm, given a final rinse in hot water. 8. Are put through a high heat jet wash in the washing machine, a high heat setting in the dryer, laid out, stamped with my logo, and finally ironed if necessary.
