Wahahaha. Yaaas, of course, Llr kneed someone in the groin. And a lot of the rest makes sense to me, too.

HOWEVER, I'm dying to know under what circumstances Llyr ate an insect. And who was on the receiving end of his petty revenge? :D

I would have been very surprised if he hadn't. Numerous times. He's quick and hard to grab, so it's a good move for him :D

Insects? During training, when dropped in caves. In jail, when rations were rare or stolen. After being exiled to Ivry, while too sick to hunt properly. Llyr doesn't mind eating insects :D

As Keighon was major revenge (if you even want to call it that) and not just petty, that one doesn't count. But for petty revenge, years in jail make you end up with stupid enmities over little insignificant things, and for a time, when he was in a very bad place (though past the worst place), he didn't let things slide. If he had the feeling that someone slighted him, it wasn't beyond him to find ways to get back to them, and not in a grand, honorable way. Herding rats into dark corners where someone slept, rubbing dirt into scarce food and all those little, petty things you can think of when you don't have much to go on. There was an assortment of inmates at the receiving end over the years, and Jylan had been among them at first until they connected more. Even after arriving in Ivry, it wasn't beyond him to find a way to get back to others on perceived slights. Took him one or two years to relax a bit and let things drop more often than not.
