“Let’s enjoy the game… Thank you.” Let’s enjoy the game… A final quote from Satoru Iwata at Nintendo’s 2013 E3 show. But what can we take it as? Let’s enjoy the video game? Well, sure. But how about the game of life? In other words. He may have perhaps told us not to just enjoy the nostalgic, memorable, great games from Nintendo, but the life we’re enjoying them in, and the people we involve. After all, if we know one thing about Iwata-san, he strived to bring people together to have fun. So go head, enjoy the game. It only lasts so long…
Hip Tanaka’s tribute to Satoru Iwata ⊟
Creatures Inc. president and longtime Nintendo composer/sound engineer Hirokazu Tanaka posted a new arrangement of Balloon Trip music from Balloon Fight, as a way of honoring late Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata. The two worked together on Balloon Fight. Even though the circumstances are sad, the Balloon Trip music is always cheerful and welcome!

Dear Mr. Satoru Iwata, Thank you for all you have done for all of us. We will always remember you. May you rest in peace.
Rest in Peace, Satoru Iwata 1959 - 2015
Here’s one of my favorite moments of him from E3 2014. Thank you for always doing fun things like this for your fans and making them smile. You will be missed greatly.
“On my business card, I am a corporate president. In my mind, I am a game developer. But in my heart, I am a gamer.”
Satoru Iwata (1959-2015)
Mr. Iwata was a brilliant and dedicated man. He brought joy and laughter to children and adults alike. His legacy will continue to live on for generations to come.
Thank you, Mr. Iwata, for all that you have done for me as well as many other fans. Your hard work has personally helped me through many hardships I faced in life, and it is with much sadness to see you go. Thank you so much, Mr. Iwata, for everything you contributed to the gaming industry–your fans are forever grateful.

im crying all over again
Sadly Nintendo President Satoru Iwata has passed away. Let us remember him for the great work he did as both a game developer and as a president who led Nintendo through some difficult times and even opted to halve his own salary instead of laying off employees. He will be missed by many and his contributions to gaming will not be forgotten.
I can’t think of a better caption.
Mr. Iwata, rest in peace. You will be dearly, dearly missed.
Thank you for everything.
Just some of the classic video games Satoru Iwata helped program, produce or executive produce during his time with Nintendo. His legacy will forever be remembered.
