      "bonsoir!" there's a wide grin on the frenchman's face        as he's regarded with minuscule enthusiasm. "elsa has        sent me to exam your throat; she wants to make sure        you're in perfect shape for tomorrow's performances."        marcel catches a giggle from inside the trailer and         cranes his neck to peer over the performer's shoulder.        "i'm sure your guests will understand---elsa finds this        very important." he's not lying that much. elsa did stress        the importance of this check-up, but the doctor took it        upon himself to make it an immediate house call.

             another shaking of her head, stepping back             — into the target. louise made a small noise,              freezing in place, though her body was ready              to hurtle away.

         it's safe to say marcel enjoys     these cat and          mouse       games with the silent doll--just as he          thinks he's got   her, she slips    between his paws;          it's both   frustrating     and exciting     enough to keep          him coming     around (uninvited, mostly). he advances          quickly before she      has a chance to bolt, both hands          braced  against the wheel,    cutting off an escape path.           "i know you didn't   mean that, louise." his lips curl into          a smile before he's leaning down to press them against          hers. "i forgive you." that's the only apology he'd accept,          and taking it for himself was the quickest option.

             she shook her head, quickly moving              to do as her mind told her, small foot              meeting his knee despite her not usually              being so violent. She took a few quick              steps back. Bad move?

      that wasn't the thank you he was hoping       to receive. a string of foreign obscenities       leave his lips as he takes a step back to       rub at his knee. "oh, you'll regret that. i'll       have no trouble putting you back up there       and finishing what elsa started!"
