Series you should watch! : Surviving The Dead

Surviving is a sci-fi drama about a mysterious illness that begins taking over one town. The show centers on Shayla Robinson, a doctor, who tries to get answers about what exactly is happening in her city and stay alive as the virus spreads.

Ignoring the fact that it includes black actress lead Reagan Gomez- Preston, who also notably voices characters on Family Guy and Steven Universe, as a doctor. (which i’ve got to say is a great reason to start watching). Preston wrote and directed the entire series. It’s production value it’s up to ranks with most zombie films. It’s incredibly filmed. It has colorful actors, who although leave something to be desired, make up with Preston’s acting skill. The two main characters are siblings, which is one of my favorite things. (Siblings in the zombie apocalypse just keep all my feels) It takes a different twist to the typical zombie series, instead of leaving the reason of the zombie virus ambiguous it includes within the plot. It’s a series worth watching, and all of it’s seven episodes have been released. Please support it, we could get a second season
