Hey all- quick upload here! I fulfilled a request over on GoS: Jessi’s Laugh at Tragedies on AlfredAskew’s sclera. Gen/townie version was part of the original request, but I also whipped up a custom version and a version of Jessi’s original defaults. These have the same filenames so they will overwrite the originals- full credits to the original creators, I just did a quick photoshop job to swap the sclera.

Hi all! Just a quick update, I’ve gone ahead and reuploaded all the files that I could find links for to SFS! All my old dropbox links are dead and have been for a while, sorry about that.

There are more files floating around, I’m sure, but I’ll try to double-check everything and upload them all there. Lots of people have done some really good work and dug up files that I thought had been lost to time, so thank you all so much! Quick life update after the cut, for anyone who's curious.

I know I was ‘back’ a year and a half ago, then disappeared, but such is life, huh? 2018 and 2019 were whirlwind years! I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, got married, lost two very close family members and my dog, built a new living space, transitioned into a new and difficult phase of my job, traveled, lost files, went through three computers... among other things. I had big plans of cataloging and reuploading all my old content so it would all be in one place, safe and sound, but that did not fit into the insanity that was the last few years and I’m not totally sure it’s going to fit into this year, but we’re going to play it by ear.
As I have spare time, I’m going to work towards that goal. That means collecting everything, making sure it all works (because I know even some of my more popular downloads have blatant errors, duplicate files, etc. that I haven’t fixed over the years!), and then organizing it all in a way that makes sense and is consistent.
I hope everyone in this wonderful community is doing well. The Sims 2, the modding community, MTS, GOS, everyone holds a really special place in my heart. I’ve been creating content for over 13 years, which is crazy.
Anyways, I think that’s all I have and I don’t want to ramble on and be too sappy. Just love you all, always, and thank you for always being kind to me when I needed it the most.

I am only missing three of my files and, though it’s a long shot, I was wondering if anyone happened to have some of them stowed away in a folder somewhere! I will be eternally grateful if anyone has these or can find them- I’ll happily reward you with internet hugs or some special CC made just for you! <3 <3

My SS ‘08 presents to Ameranthe/Liegenschonheit. “Tanktops in December” and “Gloomy View” were the set names. The Tanktops have been found! Thank you @timeparadoxsims ! <3 There are defaults of the tanktops floating around somewhere (though I can’t find the link to those right now, either! lol) so I can salvage from there, but I can’t find the eyes anywhere!

Totally relieved I'm not beyond late on these. That happens far too often and I always feel bad! And yeah... especially the style of tank tops that they used, I don't think anyone needs that many tank tops anywhere! And I agree, I think these are an absolutely perfect replacement for the specific tanks that you chose!

a default replacement of TFtoptanktop (those awful shiny ones with the picot hem? yeah, those.) i swapped out the textures with Zombiejill’s December tank tops from…gosh, i can’t even remember how long ago. years, probably.
they should work properly—black replacing black, blue replacing blue, etc etc.

I got a message over on Garden of Shadows requesting a link to these skirts- originally part of the Secret Santa (in 2009? I think?) present I gave to Nth. As the download link in Nth's original post is dead and I had it uploaded already, I thought I would toss it up here in case anyone else was looking for it.

TS2 has been giving me nothing but troubles, so I wandered on back to TS3 (I think I am the only person in the world who has LESS issues with TS3) and decided to mess around with a post-apocalyptic world. (I just like my grungy clutter, okay?!)
Muupi's BACC may or may not have been putting me in the mood for this. Hehe. The world (and thus, the framework of the home) is Nigalkins' Roseward world.
I haven't had all that much time recently to play or create (new job get! boyfriend get! general real life stuff get!), but I am usually on at least once and day to lurk and silently like all the loveliness that this community has to offer. I've hit 250 followers and I am so tremendously appreciative.

This isn't directly Sims related, but I got some exciting recognition over on my general gaming blog, Digital Brilliance. The devs of Sleeping Dogs tweeted out one of my gifsets!
If you're into general gaming stuff, I'd love it if you checked out that blog. I run it with my boyfriend (he plays the game, I take and edit the screenshots) and while I don't update it all that often, it's a lot of fun. Also, zombiejill is my main, non-sims Tumblr, if you want random non-gaming stuff. It's occasionally NSFW, as a warning.
My security program just told me that five elements with the lovely name “Webwise.Adware” were detected. This might be a coincidence but I highly doubt that. And given the answers to my original post I’m not the only one who got something like that.
Anyway, if you get a suspicious looking message, be it via fanmail or anonymous ask, and most likely with a link - do not click it. I didn’t and still got that Adware so please, don’t be too curious. It’s not worth it.
Also, I’ve seen several posts of some people (not only simblrs) stating that their accounts were hijacked. Everybody make sure your password is of really very high security and don’t use the same one for the email adress your account is attached to.

Lilith-sims: Lilith is so kind! I am quite the fan of her work, both MM and semi-realistic, and I seriously enjoyed being her SS this last holiday season over at GoS. I think I have downloaded most everything she has made, and always get unreasonably excited when she uploads or shares things!
Keoni: Another person whose work I deeply admire! Her creators are spot on perfect, her aesthetic makes me happy, and she seems like such a nice, down to earth person! Her hair textures are my personal favorite, and I always admire her great attention to detail!
Yuxi: I have always, always, always been a huge fan of Yuxi’s. I remember way back when, when I was first getting into the sims community, Yuxi was one of my favorites. The interactions I have had with Yuxi have been pleasant and, I mean, come on… can I just steal their game (or at least borrow it?!)- drop dead gorgeous beautifulness.
