I'd really enjoy if we got the idea out of our heads that "for fun" is equivalent to less valid or valuable.

Our most memorable moments are often things we do just for fun. Our hobbies and careers are born from what we found fun and enjoyable. Our bonds with others are born from having fun together. Sometimes that's not the case, but to act as if "for fun" is some signal of invalidity ignores this reality of so many peoples lives and feelings.
