“Miss me, (Y/N)?” That voice you memorized and tried to recreate hearing inside your head and in your dreams, invaded the quiet apartment once you closed the door behind you after you had returned from drinking your morning caffeine at the small cafe across the street.
You immediately went on alert, every one of your senses firing as you felt the heat invading your veins, a feeling you hadn’t felt in quite some time, as you hadn’t been in a fight or felt threat in practically hundreds of years.
And by the time your eyes fell upon the figure you had been unaware of, you didn’t want to believe he was actually there.
Druig was sitting calmly on your couch, one of his arms stretched out on the headboard and that smirk you missed so much curved his lips, adding that special mischief to his handsome face. You were impressed by the fact that he was more attractive than ever, he was literally glowing.
“Druig?” You questioned with your brow furrowing, still refusing to believe that your soulmate was in your presence once again. “What in the hell—”
Your hands, previously raised in readiness for a possible fight, were unconsciously lowered once the man gave you a softer smile and rose from the couch, walking towards you cautiously, as if you were some kind of prey, his blue eyes glowed against the dim light of the apartment and you suddenly felt yourself falling into them. A feeling that, until that moment, you had realized you missed madly.
Unconsciously your feet began to walk backwards, away from the man who was still walking slowly towards you and when your back bumped against the door, his hands sought yours.
Druig moved even closer to you, leaning dangerously close, his nose brushing against yours lightly. You could almost hear the loud, racing beat of your heart rumbling in your ears.
“My beautiful, beautiful (Y/N), did you miss me, darling?” He whispered under a seductive, almost flirtatious tone against your lips, you could feel his warm breath against your skin, shooting a shiver from your head to your feet.
