I remember one convo specifically

Mira: Stop messing with our nets and go away before I pull you up here and can your sorry ass!

Romance: You wouldn’t get much for me if it’s money you’re after, sweetheart. My shit has been fertilized, unedible.

Mira: Shouldn’t you be going to spawn then?

Romance: Yeah, that was the plan, but you lot are so much more exciting.

Now, I'm imagining a KPDH omegaverse. The twist? It's only a thing for demons. The human world is normal.

Being a hybrid raised among humans, Rumi knows nothing of her dormant alpha instincts, until Jinu in heat unexpectedly triggers them awake.

I imagine, Zoey and Mira might have... Of lot of questions, to put it gently. Especially after Rumi growls and charges at them.

To be clear, I don't believe Rumi would be intentionally aggressive towards Zoey and Mira. She's just a newly mated alpha, driven to frenzy by hormones, and instinct. Every cell in her body is fixated on one goal: protecting Jinu, and in that moment, she sees hunters, before she sees her family.

Now, there are two options for plot development:

Zoey and Mira need time, but they accept Jinu, as well as the whole mates thing he has with Rumi (who they may only then learn is a demon). Rumi grows to trust them completely, even if learning to cope with alpha instincts takes her a while. Jinu's pregnancy might, of course, complicate things for both sides. Zoey and Mira are weirded out to Hell. Rumi takes a tumble backwards in controlling her instincts department. Still, in the end, both Rumi and Jinu feel their newly-born twins are completely safe around Zoey and Mira. Not that sometimes, they don't need to remind Rumi they love her, but she needs to stop growling.

Zoey and Mira don't react well, not at all. Out of love for Rumi, they do not harm her, or Jinu. However, there's a schism, and a lot of anger. Zoey and Mira are eaten alive by the feeling they're failing their duty, in addition to struggling with the fact Rumi, in their eyes, betrayed them. Rumi's heart is shattered, making it's pieces fuel for her self-loathing. She becomes bitter towards the turn her fate took, leaving pregnant Jinu to believe the one person in the world meant to love him resents him, when he didn't ask for any of it, either. A shift may happen when Jinu goes into labor, and for some reason, Zoey and Mira are the only people present by his side. So, the plot may settle at a similar point to option 1, however, there's a fire to be walked through before.

Of course, possible interpersonal conflict is not the only possible problem at hand. Like in my other fanfic concept, Jinu's pregnancy has to be hidden. Once again, the human world functions differently than the demon world. A pregnant male isn't exactly a regular sight. Meaning, Jinu has very few people to help him, should things go really wrong.

Not to mention, Huntrix are international megastars. So are Saja Boys. Keeping Rumi and Jinu's ever-growing pile of secrets might prove... Difficult. There's Gwi-Ma, too. He'd hardly be happy about Jinu's new mate, or two more demons unyoked by his power. Meaning, he'd likely cause trouble.
